The word LOVE is too short for complex lexigramming. No surprise that it has romantic LEO in it, of course!But why does LOVE have the same letters as VOLE? I wondered this for ages. Then I saw a nature documentary on television. Apparently prairie voles are one of the most monogamous mammals there are. The males and females cohabit (not just mate) for life, and males and females take equal shares in raising children, getting food and keeping the burrow clean. Males will also protect the female if necessary, and bonded couples will cuddle and groom each other even out of mating season. They also cuddle with their children, and, unlike most other animals, incest is almost unheard of. Adult non-virgin male voles have high levels of the hormone vasopressin due to a gene they have, which seems to be linked with monogamy. The gene gets "switched on" when the animals mate for the first time (it's a marathon 24-hour thing). I thought this was really cute! You can see a photo of a prairie vole at this site:

WOW Pisces Moon that story is too cool. How about adding this ingredient. As you said the word LEO is contained in LOVE....LEO'S ruling planet the SUN the life force, in astrology as well as on Earth. Wow! Everyone has written the most amazing responses. Wonder-full numerology and lexis. And of course, Leo rules the heart and the Sun, which is perfect love. (why didn't I think of that?) And vibrating to a Jupiter number is a wonderful match. Great spiralling.I like the idea of voles having an "elvish love"! Princess, I believe voles are going to truly help our species - "solve" a problem. Some people have severe behavioural disorders where they are unable to connect with other people, such as autistism, Tourette's syndrome, Asperger's syndrome, and certain types of schizophrenia. In some people, they seem to be genetic, while in others brain damage may play a role. These are very hard to treat, and if you have ever had a family member with these disorders, you will know how heart-breaking they can be to deal with.
