Since I'm lucky enough to be going to see The Eagles in May...(who got back together "when fell froze over"  THE EAGLES A EEE G H L S T LETS AGE!

HeartNova,You coming to see them in Vegas? I hear their coming!!! If you are, your welcome to join Cailaeh and I for lettuce wraps, plumb wine and smokes! WONDERFUL LEXI!! Their lyrics are soothing (healing) aren't they  and btw Tesla is the name of a band too. I wonder if there's any connection between the two? IP: Logged |

Hi! No I live in Reno and they are playing May 31 I'm going to have to "steal a seat" like the Lexi says because my seat is so crappy (up, behind the band). I lived in LV last year and loved it. I would love to get together with you! Sure sounds fun, anyway. TESLA HEAT is loud and clear in their name. Nova,I'd love to meet you....to bad we didn't know of each other last year. But better late than never right? Perhaps you could take a jaunt down in May when Katii comes too. Nickla Tesla was an inventor, he was actually Edisons rival. It was Tesla who invented the AC current, among thousands of other invention, including but not given credit for splitting the atom (tesla heat?). When he realized how distructive man would use it he was going to distroy the "how to's" histroy goes that the man who was given credit (can't remeber his name) was an apprentice for Tesla, he stole the idea and plans and the rest is histroy. Tesla is credited with litterally over 5000 patent inventions. Tesla invented a way to get electricty from the earth and wanted every American to have free power. As his thank you for all of what America stood for. If my memory serves me right, which it probably doesn't, Telsa was an imigrant from Yucaslavia, or some place like that. I reccomend an autobio written by Thad Tao, it's superb! Tesla is thought to haunt Linda's home in Cripple Creek.... It made more sence to me for the Eagles to be associated with that band than the inventor.

Heart....WOW! Tho short, that LEXI reveals so much!  And I saw your Linda connection thread. That is truly amazing. AND...I'm a bit jealous. The concert sounds terrific! Have loads of fun and be sure to let us know how it was  ------------------

Breezy~ The Eagles will be in LV on June 1 - why don't you check out availability for tickets  They were at Mandalay Bay last time I think... ------------------

Hi again Breezy and everyone,Thanks for the info on Tesla. I will have to fill in my fiance about him, as he worked as an electric Lineman for Southern California Edison for 28 years. Now I want to go back and read Linda's book where she talks about Tesla! And yes, I do love to visit Las Vegas. I lived there last year and had this great little studio in the Northwest last year. It was so exciting, but the traffic is terrible .

Have any of you watched the Eagles video concert, When Hell Freezes Over? It's WONDERFUL. I just got a VHS tape of it for only $2.95 through Ebay (I don't have a DVD player yet). A MUST SEE sometime before the concert.
