Hi Guys 
I started a string on The Pilgrims Progrogess forum about this group of people.... Here's the link.... http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum13/HTML/000150.html Anyway, theFajita suggested that it would be very interesting to do a lexi about this group. I think that's a great idea. So if anyone has time it would be fascinating to see what comes up about them. I posted the link to the string as not sure which name you would lexi for them.

Hope you had a good Christmas  No rush at all on this lexi. I just think it could be interesting. They seem to be a kindof strange "movement". It reminds me of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" but then again - I know nothing about them so probably shouldn't even be making comments about something I know nothing about. I do something that is a form of word Art. I call it SONIX. This method utilizes equivalent harmonic/sound (rhyme)patterns to derive higher meanings of the word or phrase. Let me give you an idea of how it works...(1) RAELIAN -> REAL-ALIEN.
(2) RAELIAN -> WE-HAIL-ALL-ALIEN
(3) RAELIAN -> ARE-EL-ALIENS ? These are some examples of sonixing words. Peace, kAH IP: Logged |

Cat - I took a look at that website you linked. I definitely don't agree with their thoughts on the soul, but their basic precepts and some of their protests have great merit. Perhaps there is something there we can all learn. Thanks for such an interesting request!kah - I never heard of "sonix." Please tell us more. Hopeful

Hey Cat, how are ya! :-). Actually there is method to the madness of sonix. What you want to do is to try and catch the rhyme pattern in the flow of the syllables in the word. You can mix up the syllables if you like also. Here is another example...BIBLE -> I-BE-LIBEL. Now this one can be interpreted in two ways. One is the bible will prove your falsehood or the evil nature in you and two..., The english 'bible' ( bible is an english word ) translation is off (false). This example follows the pattern of rhyme, however, interchanging the flow of the syllable phonetics in the original word. Here is another example. This time it will be straight forward without changing the syllable flow in the original word... HOLY BIBLE -> WHOLLY-BY-BILL. If you recall, two main bibles were given to us by the anglicans. One was authored by William (Bill) Tindale. And the other , which is not commonly known in the religious circle, by William (Bill) Shakespear (our KJV bible). Also before I forget, sonix work rather well and preferably on ARCHAIC english words. ARCHAIC words will easily yield to being BENT. And that is what you want to do , to get the word to BEND ( >>ARCH<<---aic ). I guess one can sorta like compare it to a gymnist. Sonix requires a heck of alot'a word body flexibility. Peace, kAH
