Hi:Anyone understand why the words "enlightenment" and "enlighten" contain the word "lie"??????? That's not usually a good thing, according to Star Signs, right? Thanx! IP: Logged |

Hello there tobygrrl...Well I hadn't considered that before.. but as Linda states in Star Signs there are good lies and bad lies.  I think that there are so many methods out there that claim to bestow enlightenment on seekers; that claim to be the "one and only" or the "fast track" Path .. and that would certainly be a LIE. There are even some people are out in the world selling courses and methods that they claim will bring enlightenment (for exhorbitant amounts of money), like it's something that one can pay for! And that, is a LIE of epic proportions!!  In fact, that we think we even need to BECOME enlightened is a lie of sorts. We are already expressions of God, whatever we choose to call Him/Her/It, so we really do not need to seek for it, but rather LIVE it, if you see what I mean. We are Spiritual beings having a physical experience.. and in that way, we are already beings of LIGHT. As a wise man once said: "Let your Light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven". Hope that helps a wee bit...

Hello juniperb...Thank you! I love Lexigrams and metaphysical discussions! I'm at my happiest when I'm discussing these things... I have a wee bit of Mercurial influence in my chart... so perhaps I get my "way with words" from that little trickster! Now if I could whip up a little of Saturn's discipline.. I could sit down and put a book together, so I could spend more of my time being happy and talking about all the things that I love... Thanks again for the kind words... Blessed Be...
