star, i believe this thread is so large for a couple of reasons. one, because this person we discuss has made a massive and controversial impact on our society, and many people know of him. two, because well, the person who started it got us going a bit, hinting at a mystery. thats quite seductive to a lot of people. thats why the national enquirer sells so many papers. they hint at scandal with big headlines on their front page, then when you take it home, its mostly a bunch of c rap. no pun intended, wanted to avert the censor. wasnt sure if that word was a bad one, and i dont think it is personally, its very apt at times.

there is truth in everything, if people wish to see it, if they are open to it. please try to not place more importance on this than it deserves, if it worries you and makes you upset. we all need a stable perspective. i have an earth grand trine which seems to help me keep my feet on the ground, when so many neptunian issues have me in the etherial. i guess im lucky for it cause i *could* easily get lost with my neptune issues and my sag rising, add to that the libra sun that has to weigh everything and venus in virgo that has to examine every bit of info... if i didnt have that earth gt id be lost.

his chart has pluto in libra yes, mine happens to be in the same sign, i was born a couple years before him. btw his mars is in libra. *he couldnt have mars in aries as a libra sun, i dont think anyway. correct me if im wrong. the only aries he has is chiron, his chart is pretty interesting, i WISH i had the houses! its so frustrating... his asc is important too as its his public mask.

anyway, aside from chiron in aries, saturn in cancer (now thats telling) and jupe in pisces, the rest of his planets are in a libra/scorp stellium with a couple (including the node) in sag. thats if i have the right birthdate of course. i used the one posted here but when i was looking for his birth time, i noticed out of the corner of my eye a couple of differences with the year, which would make all the difference.

look in the astro forum for a description of his mother, his moon is in scorpio. now *thats* interesting. i just made a thread where i typed out mother in the moon from a book i have.

Anyway I decided I should use my Tarot cards and find out about his true character!
The cards I recieved were:
The Hermit and The Hanged Man!

Right now it looks as if he is going through some kind of transformative process. The Hermit represents a man who is searching within and is trying hard to find who he is and what he truly wants. With this can come loneliness and depression becuase you are faced with looking only to yourself. The Hanged Man represents losing logic and sacrificing the most painful thing of all. Your ego! This will be very tough for him becuase he will think more with his head then his heart. The hermit can also symbolize a teacher that may help him search for something.

Then I asked, "What will his next move be, musically speaking?" The cards I recieved were: The Five of Swords, The Page of Cups, and The Five of Wands.

This is pretty nasty, the cards signify a tremendous obstacle, which he will have to overcome once more. The Five of Swords represents loss and regret. It may also mean stiff competition or others trying to beat him down. Another problem could be is that right now he's suffering from writer's block, or he's afraid that his message will become repetitive and redundant. He is faced with the situation of coming out with another record and he's having problems being forced. The Page of Cups signifies that the problems are creatively speaking. He is terrified that his next record will be a blow to his large ego! The Five of Wands indicates that action must be taken soon and that competition and stress is headed his way. The greedy money-makers are forcing him to come in with another record as soon as possible. My advice for him would be, not to arrive with another record for the next 2 years. During this time he will be able look within himself and allow the magic to overshadow his writing. I would also advise him to stay away from the lime-light and avoid the press and media for good. If he comes out with another record any time soon it will only be about money and he'll lose! He needs to be very wise in his desicion making.

Saturn has just arrived into Cancer, this will afflict his Sun in Libra which could cause him a lot of hurt and loss of ego! In my heart of hearts I see that Eminem has only 1 or 2 more records to make!

BTW, I don't think any newbie will be able to read this whole entire string.

Yes, he grew up with many troubles, I think most of us here realize that. As for his mother, are you referring to Munchausen By Proxy syndrome? This is where one person makes another ill, for his or her own personal gain. I realize his mother has her own problems, but I was not aware she had this disorder, if in fact she does.

It's not extraordinary that he survived his childhood, there are lots of people who overcome adversity. What is extraordinary is that he has been able to use his past as a stepping stone to overwhelming success. And that is the crux of this exchange: Will he use it for the greater good, or will he use it to perpetuate violence as it existed in his troubled past? It's arguable that the fury/vehemence/anger etc. depicted on his first CD especially, glorifies that violence...but there are those of us who think he is capable of growing, and perhaps will continue to grow and evolve...only time will tell.

Personally, I think it is important to rememember that despite his troubles, he is a very hard-working man. And the words, well, his words, however harsh, must be taken in some sort of context, and can indeed be separated from the man...Stephen King writes very violent, terrifying novels, his characters commit heinous crimes. And he is but a mild-mannered man. AFter all, they're just books. We all cheer when the Terminator kills the *right* people. After all, it's just a film.

Perhaps we are holding Eminem to a different standard, as we often do with rock stars, and perhaps that is not fair.

i have to say though trill, that stephen king writes fiction, and never professed to anything different. the thing with eminems words are that they are rather autobiographical. he speaks in the context of himself.

i laughed when i saw your comment about madonna thinking vanilla ice was a genious, lol!!! that was funny, thank you

with mercy too! that was funny (and i guess you are right, lol!!) i just dont cotton to well to people who 'tease' that that... it seemed very teasy to me. and yes, sounded a bit like a publicity stunt of sorts too. i mean, what else are we supposed to think? a person we dont even know comes and says something like that, well i personally just dont think that kind of behaviour is fair. im a libra after all, dont sass me bout it!

so if you are out there drageniorlerasidlsgdy (forgot the nickname whoops :X), stop 'draggin' yer heels and 'draggin' these peoples hearts around and out with it already!

I certainly hope s/he`s not waiting to reply until we lexie it 5 times each I`m not going to do that as I`ve gleaned from the lexies and all the knowflakes input, all I feel I`ll learn to date.
