I have been working on my own lexi and am wondering if I perhaps can't see many of the words for myself...I have made a huge list of words that I connect with, but forming sentences or verses is a different story...Here I am! NNICCOOLEEEEDPTRSHK I'm curious to see what you all come up with!!! THanks IP: Logged |

Hello Ram and Welcome!!!Yes, doing one own's lexis is often the most challenging task. Nonetheless, many times mere words are actually enough to "see" the message. Please do not expect all lexigrams to be neverending poems, some lexis are very short and clear... IP: Logged |

Thanks, Miracle. I figured as much. I only seem to be able to come up with words like "nice" and "ice" (lame) !!! IP: Logged |

i personally think its because we lack objectivity i also think that the most valuable lexis of *anything* are ones in which the lexier? lexifier? doesnt know much about the subject. its just too hard for us to not want to see what we *want* to see... its a very normal human instinct. i was thinkin i might give lexis a try soon, once ive cleared some other things ive got to do. i get more and more intrigued every time i read this forum. maybe that was my problem before, i only tried lexiing things that i personally had beliefs in or knowledge of. one day perhaps i can try some of others here. too busy at the mo ~ana IP: Logged |

I seen hen coop, chicks cheep, eel [and] deer. I'd like to rest in nest. I look to kitchen sink. I [had] deep desire to hide in den! Heck ne'er done it tho'. In teens I'd pretend. I'd send and post checks, lend tenner to kin. I proceed on heels [of] peers, then led the rest. IP: Logged |

Nicole,Hey - Do you have alot to do around farms or farm animals - specifically chickens and raising them? Do you think perhaps since you have two areas of strengths that you could perhaps combine the two ... - writing and - farm animals or - nature animals in a profession? IP: Logged |
