I know little about the Pentagram. From what I have learned I came up with the following.A PAGAN MAP A PENTAGRAM A PAGAN MANTRA GRANT A MAP I looked at the numerology and Pentagram was 33, not very insightful. If I add an s for Pentagrams you get No. 27 SCEPTRE (All leters in pentagram except c). This number is fortunate of courage, power and a touch of enchantment (taken from Star Signs). With the added S you can see- RAM and MARS (associated with the No. 5, Pentagram having 5 points) STAR SAGE I think the 'S' has special meaning. Also, Pentagram contains 'TEN' (and no other number) Maybe someone with further knowledge of the Pentagram can help me spiral further? IP: Logged |

I think pentagram being a 33 is very interesting! The pentagram is a very important symbol in the Masonic tradition ... you will find it in many a Masonic temple, among other places. And the number 33 is perhaps their most significant number - the 33 levels or degrees of the Order. The 33rd parallel holds more than a few curious sites - Bermuda Triangle/Atlantis, Bahgdad, Roswell, and the Great Pyramids sit on the 30th, all 3 of them. ... there are many more. There are 33 complete turns in a strand of human DNA, Jesus lived 33 years, and King David ruled for 33. ... really, there is no end to the connections with 33, the pentagram, and the Masons, which all of the above are associated with. That is very interesting Ra. Thank you so much for your input. 33 does make more sense to me now.Does anyone have any reasons why MAP is in Pentagram? Is the Pentagram a map for something?? IP: Logged |

Greetings...Ra, very interesting connection to the 33 degrees of Masonry! I believe that there is a connection to the Qabalah there... in the Qabalah there are 32 Paths of Wisdom... one might say that a master has attained them all! Just a thought! In terms of Pentagram being a 33 in numerology... why would you want it to be a 27? 33 is a Master Number, as all the double numbers are (11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99). They show great power for good or ill according to the WILL of those that bear them. Does the Pentagram not represent great power? Can it not be used for good or ill according to WILL (or intent)? When right side up a Pentagram (or Pentacle) is the symbol of the dominance of Spirit over the 4 Elements. The Pentagram (and or Pentacle) is also a PERFECT depiction of the Phi ratio (1.618034). Phi ratio is also known as the Golden Mean or Golden Section in art and architecture. What jumps out at me when I take a quick look at Pentagram in Lexigram is: MAN: A GREAT MAGE A MAGE (in) GERM (we all have the wisdom or ability to attain to mastery; the seed or germ of greatness/mastery within!) ANGER = RAGE = AGE (see Chapter 9 of Star Signs) A GEM (when one truly understands the esoteric meaning behind the symbol of the PENTAGRAM) A GAME (Life has been called a GAME, has it not? This can be food for great thought and spiraling!) MAN = AN AGENT (of) RA (are we not all individual points of expression for the ONE LIFE in whom we live and move and have our being? {God}) A MATE; A TEAM (I think this is fairly self explanatory) MAN; A MAGNET (do we not attract from the universe that which we hold in our hearts? Is this not the beginning of magic and miracles? Isn't the Pentacle or PENTAGRAM a most potent magical symbol?) Again, this is what I get when I take a cursory look... I also know that another name for a PENTAGRAM (the 5 pointed star) is PENTALPHA... so I think there's a lot of spiraling left to be done. Blessed Be... Greetings...OK, so today as I sat waiting for a table at breakfast I revisited the PENTAGRAM Lexigram, and this is what I spiraled. MAN: A PENTAGRAM PENTAGRAM: A MAN (if a MAN or woMAN stands with feet spread and arms extended out to the sides he/she will be in the shape of a 5 pointed star = PENTAGRAM) Not only that, but if one were to do the math on the human body, like the PENTAGRAM, MAN's (or woMAN's) body would found to be in Phi proportion. To back track to my first Lexigram: MAN: AN AGENT (of) RA in that same vein we find: MAN: A PART (of) RA RA: A PART (of) MAN so we find yet another confirmation that MAN and GOD (RA) ARE (o)NE A little more confounding, or perhaps disturbing: RAPE: MAN ANGER (now, rape has always been thought of as a crime of POWER and not of SEX. When one feels POWERless, or if one is disturbed (here you may read INVERTED, or evil) ANGER can lead one to lash out in a violent and hateful way. Hrmmm) Now in terms of why MAP may be found in the word PENTAGRAM... When I Googled Phi and PENTAGRAM, I found these sites: http://www.spiritofmaat.com/archive/jan4/mann.htm http://www.vortexmaps.com/htmla/rennes2.htm Hope that may help to shed a wee bit of light on that mystery. Blessed Be... A IP: Logged |

Beautiful work Majenta... and La-Tee-Da! Aselzion, as ever, offering insight... I agree, yes we are magnets in the Universe.Furthermore, I believe that everything in Universe eventually (sooner or later) goes back to its source: thoughts, actions, energy, spirit, everything. IP: Logged |

Wow!!! how fitting ... i just got done reading a book titled, Simple Wicca. The pentagram was one thing i wanted to research further on ... i found it very facinating. Great lexi work La-tee-da! Aselzion, as always, your just full of info. When i looked at the word Pentagram, i immediatly saw the word, PAGAN. In which, i know someones already pointed that out ... but then i saw ... TERM in the remaining letters ... so PAGAN TERM - how fitting! This one will have me thinking for sure ... thanks CappyChic for the spirals you've envoked. Ang- IP: Logged |
