I read somewhere, that John Kerry announced he was running for president during a void moon, and astrologically speaking that is a sign that he might not win. It looks like it's going to be a very close race, there is something off about Kerry, he's just not the right man for the job. Nor is Bush, this election is going to make HISTORY!! Whoever wins! Best of luck to them. -StarLover

Hi StarLover. You probably read one of my posts. Historically, if a candidate accepts his party's nomination on a void-of-course moon, he will lose the election, as did Al Gore. This has been true since astrologers started watching, in the 1970's. However, the moon will not be void when Kerry accepts on Thursday. The moon will be in Capricorn. So he has a chance. I believe George Bush will re-accept on September 2nd, at the Republican Convention. If I'm wrong on the date, please let me know so we can look at it. If he accepts on September 2nd before 8:16 pm EDT, the moon will be void. After 8:16, it will be in Taurus. Interesting race. This probably belongs in the Astrology forum, or maybe FFA, and I was planning to post it after Kerry's speech. But I saw your post, StarLover, and wanted to tell you this information. IP: Logged |

No, the first announcement Kerry made is what counts. Magi Astrology accepts only the first announcement which created the campaign chart. Bush rules out of it, because he automatically has to run for re-election, so one must look at the chart of his last innauguration. I don't know I could be wrong. The candidate has already been chosen, now we're just going to have to wait and see! -StarLover IP: Logged |

Randall, do you still think Kerry is a garanteed loss, after three months of Bush bashing I really wonder now? -StarLover IP: Logged |

Sorry to disagree StarLover, but the book I have is quite specific. It's the nomination that counts. The first announcement of course has influence, and though the declaration of Kerry's bid for presidency was made on a void moon, he still won. But I'm not using Magi Astrology. Now, here's an excerpt about the nomination, I'll transcribe it for you, based on studies originated by astrologer Al H. Morrison: "Historic events during such periods have a wild, Pandora's box impact on cultural evolution. The first two dozen successful space shots were all launched with the Moon void of course to open an all-new age in which old concepts and ideas are corrected or disproven. " "In every presidential election from 1900 through 1972 one of the two major party candidates was nominated with the Moon void of course. Every one of the candidates nominated with the moon void of course lost." "Jimmy Carter's 1980 nomination came in a void of course moon. " And, Jimmy was already president. He lost his second bid for the White House. Al Gore's nomination came on the void, too. So, I do stand corrected--I thought it was the acceptance speech that counted. But what counts is when the nomination announcement is made from the Democratic/Republican party heads. I'll be watching with interest. Thanks for an interesting conversation, StarLover. Though I think we should copy it and send it to FFA! IP: Logged |

What will happen if both candidates don't announce their nomination on a void moon?-StarLover IP: Logged |

The Bush haters are more vocal than the Bush supporters. I'm from a large military city, and believe me, this is Bush country in the South--even though we are overrun with liberals. I personally think bin Laden will be caught soon, and Bush will win (though not by as big of a margin as I once thought). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Then I guess we won't have a clear picture from that perspective, StarLover! Hmmm...Saturn is in Cancer, Bush is a Cancer...it just finished conjuncting his Sun in the 12th house. It's squaring his natal moon and Jupiter. As we get closer to the election, transiting Saturn will conjunct his natal Saturn. Interesting...

Yes, it's quite evident that he's going through an extremely awful time right now. Poor Bush I have very real sympathy for him. Things are getting very interesting. There is no way he'll announce it before 8:16 pm, conventions last hours, and he'll probably accept very late at night at around 10:00 pm. -StarLover IP: Logged |

you`re confusing this poor soul. I`ve been watching FFA for your conversations.------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Star, I read your Tarot for GWB. It got me to spiraling on something I had posted
quote: I recall reading a Ruth Montgomery book that said a soon -to- be president will be a Walk In. The Walk In would radically change the man & his beliefs and he would open up Americas eyes o the comming changes
She stated he would be a very well know man with a radical change of beliefs and the public would see that. Could it be GWB`s Saturn return paving the way for a Walk In? Just spiraling juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

If ever a man needed a walk-in, Juni.... Sorry about the confusion, Juni! StarLover, I posted a lot of what we were talking about over in FFA, in case some others might have some input. So maybe we could chat about this over there? I think you are probably right--neither will be nominated on a void of course moon this time around. So the Cosmos won't be making this election easy for us to call! IP: Logged |
