Ash isn't really a bad word, is it? It's a very nice tree. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

No worry, the white ash is a wonderful hardy tree and is the best firewood. Think of it`s strengths & see if it applys. Randall, which ash tree do you have in GA? juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot

Ash is also a product used to make soaps; it is the best natural source of potash to amend the soil. Ash is a very necessary by product and so beneficial I think it`s a good thing juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

I think Ash is a wonderful name. In Norse mythology the Tree of the Universe was an ash tree. The Mighty Yggdrasill. It held up the world.IP: Logged |

Gazing out at my large ash tree this a.m., I see a pair of robbins are building a nest in her. ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

ASH from the Ogham celtic meaning, Strength grows from deep roots. Ash has the dual powers of strength and that the Ash tree is rooted in wisdom. Three of the five sacred trees of Ireland are Ash trees. the tree produces seed pods that are roughly key-shaped this contributes to is association with opening doors to wisdom. Greek myth says the first man was born from an ash tree. IP: Logged |
