I just found that download.com has some lexies programs. Do you think using a program somehow takes away from the divine aspects of lexigraming by making it too mundane?IP: Logged |

It misses the magick that strings the words together to form messages.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

It's the intuitive connection that brings the message needed to be revealed for that person at that time. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Hello there Libra I agree with you and Randall on that one! I enjoy the spiralling and the magic involved and the thoughts and images that become unveiled while doing a lexi. I only used an anagram program once, and didn't take to it. I don't mind what others do, I just find the 'spiral' technique just ~perfect~! ------------------ "The dream was always running ahead of me. I still spiral. I get a list of words from an anagram server but I use my intuition to write my own lexigrams. I like using an anagram server because I dont want to miss a single word that might be important. The server doesnt write the lexis for me.IP: Logged |

The finding of words to use in lexigrams is a logical one. No mysticism involved. How they are used in lexigramming etc. is where the intuition comes into play. You can still use your vibes to alter it or determine its validity. It seems that no matter what I do concerning lexigrams, I please some, others I do not. I love lexigrams and I'm simply trying to participate. Like on threads where I respond to the spirals, I lexigram the previous phrase in its entirety, not just a couple of letters. My reply is all words I found within the previous post. I am not trying to be a smart alec, I just love to do them as completely as I can........IP: Logged |

Hey fayte, this thread is about 'do you think using programs takes the divine aspect out of lexigrams?' Just FYI. ------------------ "The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle." Anais Nin IP: Logged |

yeah I know that. But some have insinuated I use those idiotic anagram generators. I do NOT! But if anyone wants to use them I do not have a problem with that. Again.. It is how one creates a lexigram..once they HAVE the WORDS, that is when the magic begins! Not finding the words! IP: Logged |

No No fayte, I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that YOU invaded the thread. I actually assumed that you may have noticed a new topic named "programs" and I thought you assumed that someone was inquiring about a program so you posted your site. I thought you didn't read the thread at all because your post was peculiar in my mind. People were quesitoning the divine aspects of using programs and I thought it was wierd for you to post the site. Anyway please DONT take offense to what I said, and there's no need to apologize, I don't have anything against you or your site. Again, please understand that I assumed you didn't read what the thread was about- and I thought it was strange to see you post that. You are entitled to say whatever you wish regarding this topic- I just assume too much. My apologies. ------------------ "The dream was always running ahead of me. SunChild...we all tend at times to jump to the wrong conclusions or assumptions. Its human nature to do so. I was not clear that time as to why I posted the --------website. I should have included the phrase about how people can e-mail them with questions. The thread here is an example of a very often asked question. I may suggest they put a page on the website about this topic. That is one of the main reasons I posted it here. And this is Lexigram Magic, so even though it seemed odd to you, it did not to me. I take lexigrams, and lexigramming VERY seriously! Thank you for explaining your assumption, and allowing me to interrupt this thread, AGAIN.

I'm glad you understand what I meant. Anyway, back on topic, I was going to describe the way I like to Lexigram. We all have our own ways, and I wouldn't say my way is better than anyone elses. I do go into a different state of consiousness, and by having all words in front of me I just get confused and so many rhymes are passing through my mind at a 100 miles an hour. But another person may prefer to have all the words in front of them to be able to string together an intuitive lexigram. Where I just get confused. I let the words come into my mind. There are many paths to the same destination. I kind of do it with a blind fold on. I don't post my lexis' as they are personal and do reflect more of me than the target. But for me programs only hinder my result, but at the same time they might better someone elses. Just seeing a hug pile of words is NOT a lexigram to me. But it may be ok for someone else. If everyone did it the same it would be boring, I like the diversity. But I still stand strong by my opinions, and the way I express it.
