Interesting how many typos I made My view on this is probably more than a little biased. I kinda wanna play with it more to see if I come up with anything to the contrary. IP: Logged |

Hey Irish - I know I'm late, but here's my meagre contribution: TIN RIPS, OIL BITES THE LOST CELT. HIT TO THE HILT, THE CELT TIPS. HIT TO THE HILT, THE CELT HOPES. NOT LONE ON THE BEST LIST - THE CELT'S HERO LISTS 'N' LIES NOT, THO IS SORE. After I finished with that, this came a bit disconnected from it: Both - NO CHORE IN BICS 'N' OIL and NO LORE IN BICS 'N' OIL Though, to be honest, I've no idea what that means...he won't have to fight oil fires? Everyone came out with some forthright stuff on the oil thing, impressive Irish - how are you doing? ------------------ "The past is history, the future is a mystery, & this moment is a gift.. that's why it's called 'the present'." Anon IP: Logged |

Be strong, Irish. I know it's an easy thing to say but a hard thing to do...I've not yet had to go through a deployment (heck, I'm lonely with my babe just on funeral and OpFor detail and gone most nights), but remember that it is doable, though difficult. Are you near Post? If so, do you have a decent FRG or one of those dreaded gossipfests? Have you ever been over to www.cinchouse.com ? I haven't been in a while. While some of the forums're filled with sillyness, there's some good stuff there, too.

I know that it was founded by Merideth Leyva - she wrote _Married to the Military: A Survival Guide for Military Wives, Girlfriends, and Women in Uniform_ - but I don't know if she still runs it.It's been incredibly useful for me, seeming to have an article on most questions that I've had about the military (that and military.about.com 've answered most of my questions...I e-mailed the guy who heads up the about.com site to thank him). If the answer still eludes me, there's always cinchouse's forums, and someone usually can help you out there. It seems to also be a useful venting place for those who's loved ones are deployed. Thanks Prox and Randell-Things here are a-changing. I am planning on moving back to the state of Missouri within a few weeks. The Marine Corps refuse to make a timely decision on wether they will let him out or not. He wants out to take care of his mother since his dad died last week. There of course is more to the story but I am not in a place right now that I can talk about it yet. I will say that I am glad to be rid of him. This has been an emotionally abusive relationship for many years. Look for an e-mail Prox in a few days. Love, Irish IP: Logged |
