Hmm... that's a good question. I don't really know about the grammar But... from SHE DON'T HIDE, I get SHE IS NOT TO HIDE Personally, when I Lexi, I don't use bad grammar. IP: Logged |

But then again, you don't EVER use bad grammar, which is a fabulous thing. Your kids will thank you for it when they're older.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the feedback, I was hoping for that, and besides, I discovered some pretty amazing and positive things in the lexi i'm doing, so all signs point to the positive, besides I think the negative was refering to past events. thanks again IP: Logged |

It is not always easy, and often it is damn near impossible to create or birth a Lexigram using perfect grammar. It is more important to punctuate to help convey/clarify the meaning. As for the example: SHE DON'T HIDE Unless you are able to find within the source* you are Lexigramming, the non contraction form of; DO NOT or better, DOES NOT then you cannot use the contraction version. The same goes for slang words such as LUV in lieu of LOVE to sound more poetic or whatever. If you can actually find the correctly spelled word; LOVE within your source*, then you may use LUV if you desire to do so. However, going by your example of; SHE DON'T HIDE if you actually have those letters from your source*; DD EE HH I N O S T then you can indeed spell out; SHE DOES NOT HIDE !!!! : So there you have it! Perfect grammar! PS. source=the name, phrase, date, title etc. you are Lexigramming. ------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Everyone is a student... Learning is eternal. }><}}(*> IP: Logged | |
