golden truth! Hello!
Generally it is best to find words and lexigram in the language the name is. But if you do speak English, then I see no reason to not do it in English. As far as the spelling...well that can be a problem. I would say that the person whose name it is should choose the Anglicanized spelling they feel fits/suits them best and go from there. That is why lexigrams of people like Osama/Usamma...and others, are difficult. Which English version would THEY choose? We can not choose for them, or that could potentially invalidate the accuracy of the meaning of the resulting lexigram.
PS.what is the person's full name please? Also sin is not nesessarily a bad thing. The words that appear from our names can also tell of, reveal our dislikes and aversions. A "no" before "sin" is not needed to negate it's negative meaning. This person you speak of may well have an aversion to sin. So sin is then not an indicator of being a sinful person....in fact... to me, it simply means, this is a thing this person simply does not like. I hope I have helped. If there is more to this person's name, even an added nickname, I will check it out..OK?

I am non-european and there are many non-european names in my family. Lexigrams work in both English and my own language.

An example of another name that you can use english lexigramming on is:

"Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi"
(Mahatma Gandhi)

However, the name also contains words that were specific to his cause, like "ashram", "ahimsa".
