For the record, I was speaking as a Knowflake not as a Mod. I have no powers here.

I really don't think I'm the only one who believes what she was doing was a huge slap in the face. How do you come into a forum where people are working on a specific task for free and tell them they are all doing it wrong?!... If they'd like it done correctly they will have to pay an outrageous sum of money to receive the results. Seriously?!

Just plain rude, IMO... and pardon me for not feeling the need to spare the feelings of someone I believe to be a con-artist.

Further, as Juni so wisely reminded us (I'm glad to see you're still about, Juni)... We know Linda's position on the exchange of money for esoteric teaching. I agree with Linda's position, as many other Knowflakes agree too.

Miss LibraSparkle- No you obveously werent the only one who had that opinion on Fayte. What was realy wrong with sharing new ideas, or challenging the old ones? [pleaase dont start quating Miss Goodmans Star Signs rules, I know that and her other works more hten well enough] If Lindas way was truly the only way to ever do a lexi then her rules would in time win any debate. ? Can you not agree with that atleast ? How much researhc have you done [enen around here in LL , she did have alot of otehr activity here elsewhere if just wished to see] on Fayte before broadcasitng this opinion of her being a conartist ?

THEN- Lindas postition on exchange of money for esoteric teaching.... If I remember correctly even she said you can safely earn money for things like time spent at a keyboard typing things up, or maybe things like programing a web site ? My Father is a programer, he had to make web sites for my Grandfathers book store, Coffee Roastery, and others... All of this time at his computer was certainly desearving of atleast a small paycheck. ? Faytes husbands web site is indeed somethign that had to take him, and mayber her some time.. correct ?

Examples of this could be the many astrology web sites that charge you to have a membership to look at charts and theri interpretations,,, many of the most accurate may ask for your credit card to take more then just a sample look... With the time those astroogers spent is it realy a step against UniVersal code to ask for some pay ? Especialy in a world where if you dont spend time earning money you cant support your self or fammly...what choice would an esoteric practitioner have to atleast get soemthign for their time no matter how much they want to offer free help ???

I saw elsewhere that someone called her husbands sites prices a "rip off". If that was so couldnt this person have found a nicer way to give buisiness advice. ? Maybe she would have apreciated some constructive critisism ? If you had a better idea to market then what they may be trying perhaps your opinion would have been apreciated as long as peaepl didnt act like real codfishes when they said it ?

About her editing her posts - I could be wrong,, but just guesing, becaus if it was me I would have been a little embarased a few days later when I looked back at how much I let all of these peaepl blindly casting stones at me know that they hurt me....And I would wish I could go back and keep them ignorant of the fact they were able to get to me... That would be my reason for wanting to edit anyway...

Im sorry but it is my opinion that useing someones emotioinal upset as a piece of amunition in a heated debate against them. Even if I felt or "knew" that I was rite about them.

I don't care how Fayte chose to Lexi. I disagree with it... absolutely... but whatever. That is not what I took issue with. I took issue with her coming into our home, telling us that what we are doing is all wrong, and if we want it done right (and even if you don't, I'll SPAM you all over the site) you can pay my husband $20/per word.

I challenged her for coming in here and trying to get us to spend our hard earned money on something we are already fully capable of doing (and have been doing just fine) on our own.

I called her husband's prices a rip off. That's what I think they are... especially if they're trying to get people who are interested in spiraling on their own to bite. If their target demographic is the Lexi forum of LL (which we clearly were), then the prices are a rip off. People do that for others around her FOR FREE... in case you hadn't noticed .

As far as never having known a Scorpio to play the martyr role... Well, I guess you know one now . That is exactly what she's up to.

Except to consider that myabe she didnt meen to be rude in "your home". [perhaps some others who call it a esoteric home may have enjoyed a new view ? even if they didnt end up agreeing.]

And maybe consider her only reason for cmomgin here wasnt to advertise her husbands site. Just consider that she may have truly been into lexis of any sorts for a long period of time,, was excited to find a web site with a similar if different topic. And wanted to share her ideas and ways. While at it wouldnt any loyal wife atleast sugestt to peaepl the possability of going to their husbands site and biz, especialy if that site is about similar stuff as here?

I think she left it up to the readers to decide if they prefer Lindas way, or her way.

As I also think she left peaepl the option to be a customer at her huby's site if they so chose to.

I could b ewrong,,, but if she could have, Im preety sure she would have liked to reach through the computer screen and violently riped out a few throughts around here when the acusatioins started...

And is she the first person here who asked for some sympathy on a bad day or weak ? Perhaps she was a bit extravagent and eccentric with how she went about it ? I believe so my self, after all- I realy know eccentricity!!!

I thoought communitys of astrologers and their siter sciences are supposed to make better atempts to understand all the different sorts of personalitys and characters,, enen if less or more of those peaples persnoanlitys are very different or clashing with our own ???

I appreciate you are trying to be empathetic to Fayte. She feels as though she's been run off (which is not the case). She turned this into a drama-fest... not I. I simply said what I thought... That I felt she was plugging us with commercials, and upon further inspection, attempting to rip us off.

Neither do I think its that bad that you stick to and defend your opinions,,, Im often all too guilty of such a thing my self... but as long as I see peaple bash Fayte without seeming to have looked into her further in the other forums Im going to feel very compelled to defend her good heart and honor to the teeth.... If not just because I do know her well enough to see through both sides of this argument, and into the trth of her.

This is an MSN Group and unrelated to Lindaland. (correct me mods & Randall if I`m wrong). It simply seems to be a copy of the title of LL`s lexi forum.

the persons name was "Serenemelodie" it that helps anyone figre this out. Followed by "Linda's Rules" .... i thought it was rather odd to recieve that.

And it was on an email that is not tied with Linda Land. Although i did post my MSN messenger ID and thats the email it came thru in.

I thought it was very odd. I remember the opening page saying that this person "serenemelodie" has been doing lexigrams for a long time and felt they was good enough to go out and start a group of thier own. - who ever they may be!!!
