Hi,I really need some good advice-
I suddenly thought about lexigramming some words that have to do with the medical profession, esp psychiatry, psychoanalysis, psychotherapy etc...
So...if I'd like to lexigram the job titles of the people, or the people who does the job, so to speak- should I lexigram the single form or the plural form? Such as:
PSYCHIATRIST or PSYCHIATRISTS?
PSYCHOANALYST or PSYCHOANALYSTS?
PSYCHOTHERAPIST or PSYCHOTHERAPISTS?
(also THERAPIST or THERAPISTS? as we use the latter shorter term more often)
PSYCHOLOGIST or PSYCHOLOGISTS?
SOCIAL WORKER or SOCIAL WORKERS?
and so on...
I'm serious about this- I haven't lexigrammed anything for a long time, because...with all those excuses, it all boils down to the fact that I'm too lazy! Now I really want to find out about what's hidden behind the word druids when it comes to these mental health care professionals we either depend on and sometimes from whom we benefit, or bitterly mistrust...I'll be grateful for your advice. Thanks!
