At one point in the book Star Signs, Linda Goodman mentions the Atlantis disaster, and called cataclysms catUclysms, since "that's how the word druids spell it." Has anyone investigated the lexigramming potential of this?I just typed 'cataclism' into the dictionary.com translater, and found something interresting: Czech: pohroma, zkáza, katastrofa

Swedish: naturkatastrof, kataklysm, syndaflod I know it isn't unCommon for linguistic paralells, but was quite surprised to see just how many European languages have the same basic letters used to spell this word. (I must admit, though, I was hoping one would have spelled it the druids way.) Anyhow, here's what I got CATUCLYSMS A MASS SUM

CLUMSY SYSTUM
(I'm sure you pro's will find many more prose.) Adding the word Atlantis, I got ATLANTIS CATUCLYSM 'TIS A CLUMSY SYSTUM

May I ask where you acquired this odd spelling?CATUCLYSMS instead of: CATACLYSMS ------------------

You cannot have TITANIC,(you have only one "I") and SCIANTIST, SCIANTIST. (you do not have the required two of letter "I" there either.
Additionally;
SCIANTIST is spelled wrong as are the other bolded words above. Should be SCIENTIST, which you also do not have.
Which leads me to remind folks again that for accuracy in Lexigramming.... First off...correct spelling is very important!
When one wants a Lexigram to reveal truth, then never add any letters nor remove any!
When one adds and or removes letters, one can get a false reading when letters not from the source are added to try and force a "Lexigram" to say what they desire, not what is true.
I see such words as happy come up in a Lexigram. Yet the source name only has one letter "P" and no letter "Y".
LOVE is another word I have seen folks sneak in by ADDING the letter "E", but totally ingnoring the fact, that if they add an "E" to aquire LOVE from LOV......then if they have HAT in their name, by token of that added "E"....they are introducing HATE also. So aside from the "hiding" of added letters, by not setting them off, one is also adding meaning to a Lexigram which is simply not there. That is a false reading, no matter how one attempts to justify it. "One can Force a Lexigram to say whatever one desires it to say, by adding letters not found in the name or original word etcetera, being Lexigrammed. But that negates the validity and truth of it." I personally find that very unethical to do to anyone I do Lexigramming for.  So add all you want, if that is your thing. But please be fair, and honest, and set the added letters off properly as Linda said to do.
This way, the person the Lexigram is for, knows at a glance, where the most validity and weight of truth is. They can worry less about, or not take as seriously then, any of the added words.  The above information posted by Fayte.m is supplied by and with permission from Intrinsic Development ©

There are Anagram generators out there, but I find them a mess to work with. And shoving bad anagrams together is not good lexigramming. But folks do it. If you want to use them here is one of the better ones. http://wordsmith.org/anagram/advanced.html
I do not use it/them. No program gets all the words.
As far as getting a list, or using a generator, Only the anagram generators are free. Everyone else charges for a list. I have purchased lists from others out of curiosity and was very disappointed. continued next post...

No matter what method you use;
If you do or do not believe in word druids....
The following still applies.
 THE REAL MAGIC OF THE SPIRALING BEGINS ONCE YOU ACQUIRE ALL THE WORDS YOU ARE ABLE TO ACQUIRE, BY ANY MEANS YOU WISH!
If you believe in word druids let them help you see the words you should use. The relevant words will rise up and the non useful words should recede unnoticed.

1. The acquiring of the words you need to create a meaningful Lexigram, is NOT a spiritual process! It is a logical process! More folks would Lexigram if they only had to meditate on the words and let the Lexigram then write itself in a way.

THAT IS A TOTALLY UNNECESSARY RESTRICTION!
you have the letters?
Use them!
You do not have certain ones?
Then do not add them!
It is that simple!
Linda would be 82 years old if still living.
A person of her generation was not computer savvy nor had access to such a thing as is common now.
I am convinced that if she had grown up in a computerized environment she would think nothing of using a computer or a generator to acquire the words to create a Lexigram.
She would see I feel, that the magic begins once one acquired the words.
Few do math in their heads or on paper these days! Calculators and computers allow us to move beyond the mundane tedious efforts of acquiring the basics and allows us to go forward with things more in depth. What if astronomers and scientists and doctors etcetera;
still did everything by hand?
Free of having to make your own clothes, let alone spin thread and grow your own food etcetera, merely to survive;
You are free to do other things!
Same for Lexigramming! Acquire your words any way you wish!
