LOL, I love it... Linda was so wiseThis one made me laugh: "Speaking of obstinacy, there's no use telling a Taurean He (or she) is obstinate. In the bull's mind, he's not stubborn at all. He's patient. It's a matter of semantics. He's not hardheaded-he's just sensible and firm. For the life of him, he can't see why people judge him so unfairly." My sister is a Taurus, by the way, 26T. And her and I get along fine; she has a heart full of gold. I sense you do too~ ------------------ Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year.... The only other sound's the sweep Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. ~Robert Frost IP: Logged |

Sorry 26T, I do not think Scorpios are just as stubborn or more stubborn. Yes, they can be stubborn but not as much as Taurus.IP: Logged |

Now Capricorn is probably about the same as Taurus (stubborn); they are more quiet about it though (unless you push them)!IP: Logged |

How to Recognize SCORPIO"The question is . . . which is to be master-- that's all." An encyclopedia describes a scorpion as a nocturnal arachnid that attacks and paralyzes its prey with a poison injected by the long curved tail, used for both defense and destruction. Its sting is sometimes fatal. IP: Logged |

Well, I'm sorry silverstone, but you are wrong! And I will not back down from my observations that Scorpio's are stubborn too. hmph!LOL. kidding. But I have met many obstinate Scorpios. We tend to get along very well anyway though. Though we annoy the crap out of each other from time to time, we end up loving each other anyway. BTW I realized earlier that I had confused you with someone named Silvermoon. I dont think she posts here anymore, but I remember she complimented me on my eyebrows once in the picture thread (i think it was her anyway). You are a Cancer, correct?

You're welcome, 26t. I'm just trying to find a middle ground. And now I get to wondering about what Silverstone said quote: Of course, we do not want anyone feeling harrassed. Actually, I haven't seen anyone bothered about it really until now (errors being fixed)
I have to agree, Silverstone, that nobody has contacted me about this before. If anyone has any concerns about what is going on in this forum, please contact me or Randall or one of the other soon-to-be mods, either in a thread or through email (preferrable). Randall, I'd really appreciate your input about whether or not any of us has the right to ask another member to not pick apart our posts. Personally, as a member, I've often been of the opinion that you don't have to read what soandso posts if you don't want to. And yet I know there have been situations in the past where at least one member has been accused of harassment for similar behavior. Although I don't think this situation is anywhere near that level, as a mod, I'm just looking for some guidelines in case this ever comes up again. Is it suck it up or don't ask, don't tell or leave well enough alone if you're asked to? ****** BTW, hello, lotusheartone. What a surprise! Welcome back to LL and LM. IP: Logged |

I "put up" with an Arien for quite some time too. Our sign is probably pretty good at doing that. And my Grammy was one. I've tended to love that sign very dearly. *rambling now* IP: Logged |

Thanks Eleanore.Yes, silverstone brought up a good point. I know of one other former member who had an issue with this. There may be more that just have not spoken up, I'm not sure about that though. For some reason this all came to light. It came to light the way it did now and maybe for reasons we will not know until a future time? I have noticed that kind of thing happens alot. I trust that everything is in good timing and everything is evolving. I see a lot of positivity in what has happened here. Lexx, I hope you continue to post the lexigrams you create here on this website. You are truly talented and many here enjoy your contributions - even me. IP: Logged |

Eleanore, that was a brilliant observation about Astrology; since Linda used the Equal House System, why not encourage that here also? Great analogy. Personally, I adhere to Linda's way. But I also support free expression. I don't think we should pick apart each other's Posts, including typos and grammar; however, a Lexigram is a bit different, as mistakes can convey wrong messages. But above all else...politeness. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

Couldnt someone say that by using one system of astrology and not another could convey wrong messages? And what exactly is a "wrong message"? They are all in how we choose to interpret them anyway, right? If I used the Equal house system, for example, Saturn would move out of my 7th and into my 8th house - requiring a totally differnt interpretation. This is something I've often wondered about as another astrologer whom I respect greatly, uses the Equal house system and interpreted my Saturn in that house. I didnt think this person was wrong and took it into consideration. It's hard to say which system of anything is "right". Things to think about.... Thank you. IP: Logged |

....is there really a big difference between messages in a Lexigram, messages in a particular Astroloical House System; one astrologers reading of your own chart, or messages someone sends to you in a post?Arent they all there as gifts to us from our fellow human beings and arent we all capable of using our own intuition or running them through out own filters to find the truth with in? I love this thread. IP: Logged |
