Sepmera asked about this here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/001856.html This is a short version of one very much longer Lexigram of: Fibromyalgia Syndrome A malaise of body... In rising, I am so sore, agony binds me; I bend beyond my years. Daily ailing inside, begins, No end in bearing as syndrome flares, drains me as I labor on. I moan, I bemoan, as my body fails me some days. I imagine fine days of no more ailing! I am sad, angry, mad, dismal, sore. On bad body days, I resign from normal life. I sob. Does my body obey me? No, sadly. I sob, and I yearn for an end of bearing my malaise. I long for, sadly. as syndrome lingers on and on, no end. Days, years, go by... agony remains my bride, my groom; my life in a bind. A malaise lies, residing in my ailing body. My limbs are so sore on so many days. Damn grim malady! Drearily, grimly, morosely I go on. My days are abnormal, my arms, legs, brain... damn, my ears are also sore! I amble in my agony. I brood, I drool, I sob, again. Am I dying? No, I am only in daily agony. Agony looms in my body and, soon, my sore areas magnify in my nodes, my meridians. Infirm, inflamed, so sore, am I. GypseeWind you said: quote: Wow That was awesome on Fibro!!!!
Thank you! quote: Can you do a special favor and do one for Rheumatoid Arthritis? I also have Lupus but I don't think that word is long enough. However, I am frequently wrong!
I will give it a go when I get time. Lexigrams without errors are often quite time intensive. Lupus has 4 distinct forms, so yes, it is long enough to be Lexigrammed. Which form(s) are you concerned with? quote: Four types of lupus exist systemic lupus erythematosus discoid lupus erythematosus drug-induced lupus erythematosus neonatal lupus Of these, systemic lupus erythematosus is the most common and serious form of lupus.
quote: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, systemic inflammatory disorder that may affect many tissues and organs, but principally attacks the joints producing a inflammatory synovitis that often progresses to destruction of the articular cartilage and ankylosis of the joints. Rheumatoid arthritis can also produce diffuse inflammation in the lungs, pericardium, pleura, and sclera, and also nodular lesions, most common in subcutaneous tissue under the skin. Although the cause of rheumatoid arthritis is unknown, autoimmunity plays a pivotal role in its chronicity and progression.
quote: Rheumatism TypesThe major rheumatic disorders currently recognised include: * Ankylosing spondylitis * Back pain * Bursitis/ Tendinitis, Shoulder pain, wrist, biceps, leg, knee (patellar), ankle, hip, and Achilles * Capsulitis * Fibromyalgia * Neck pain * Osteoarthritis * Psoriatic arthritis * Rheumatic fever * Rheumatic heart disease (a long-term complication of Rheumatic fever) * Rheumatoid arthritis * Systemic lupus erythematosus * Temporal arteritis and Polymyalgia rheumatica * Tenosynovitis.
quote: There are different forms of Arthritis and each has a different cause. The most common form of arthritis, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease) is a result of trauma to the joint, infection of the joint, or age. Other arthritis forms are rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis, autoimmune diseases in which the body attacks itself. Septic arthritis is caused by joint infection. Gouty arthritis is caused by deposition of uric acid crystals in the joint, causing inflammation. There is also an uncommon form of gout caused by the formation of rhomboid crystals of calcium pyrophosphate. This gout is known as pseudogout.

Getting disability is not easy. Keep applying for it and make sure your doctor(s) documents it all. And keep a journal of how it impacts on your life and activities. I will try to post something soon. Bear with me, it does take time. Which Lexigram would you like to see first?------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Everyone is a student... Sure Lexx, that one would be good. Last year my lupus flare caused me to get some called "leukopenia" which is a type of blood disorder. Anyway I had to go to the cancer center once a week, an hour at a time, for 3 months getting IV meds. So I guess the lupus has been aggravating lately. That's alot of letters for you tho! Yikes! :>IP: Logged |

GypseeWind Blessings to you! OK....posting, Pictures and smileys and all... It is not that difficult. When you post a reply, look to your left and see the words, Smilies Legend. Click on that and you will get the codes to post! Also you can get ready made codes to copy and paste here: http://bestsmileys.com/pageindex.htm And if you go here: http://www.tinypic.com/ You can browse for any pictures you have saved and it will give you codes, and one is the "img" tags that allow you to post here. It took me quite awhile to figure it all out too. I will try to find links for more advice. ------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Everyone is a student... bump today is one of these days. Started when I was a teenager, then got worse at about 29 and has not gone away. At least the worse episodes are not everyday like they were. Now only several times a year for the very bad. For more on FMS see: http://www.anapsid.org/cnd/diagnosis/berne.html IP: Logged |

Randall. Pain has let up, but still a bit weak and chilled. But all in all yes, much better! I think I had a flu bug mixed in which did not help. 102 degree fevers suck. And kidney stones. Like the character Tom Hanks played in the movie "The Green Mile" had. Thank you for caring. {{{hugs}}}
