I was wondering about this as well, and came to a similiar conclusion.
My 13 year old son has told me since he was a small one, that he knew he was going to die by gunshot.
Not something a mother wants to hear at all.
Then when I looked at his name, he had stuff like, shoot, shot, bang, boom, and similiar stuff.
At first I freaked out a bit, and then I thought well maybe he will just become involved in law enforcement (an interest of his) or perhaps he will just take up shooting as a hobby. My father and his other grandfather are both into going to shooting ranges to target practice.
Since there are no guns in my home, I just decided to not dwell on any possible negative connotations.IP: Logged |
