These are anagrams. quote: GOOD: O GOD SOUND: US NOD
These are simple Lexigrams. quote: GOD: GO DO SPIRIT: STRIP I TRIPS
Using "C" in lieu of "see" and using "U" in lieu of "you" is not acronymic but phonentic subtitution. A lazy inaccurate thing to do. Also an unethical thing to do when divining meaning hidden in words, Neither substitution has anything to do with the actual words. Then again Linda did the same bit of the ridiculous and inaccurate too with the word GURU, which she in error called a Lexigram of the false acronym "gee you are you"..... which is not an acronym nor Lexigram of GURU in the least. An acronym of "GEE YOU ARE YOU" would be "GYAY" not "GURU". Very cutesy but not valid. a Lexigram of GURU would yield little. UR RUG is about all. Ur as in ancient Ur, not a bad substitution for your, you're, yore. An acronym of GURU could be for example: G=GREAT U=UNIVERSAL R=REALITY U=UNITER or G=GREAT U=UNIVERSAL R=REVELATIONS U=UNVEILER or G=GOES U=UNTO R=REALMS U=UNSEEN Interesting are your musings...... but still a form of adding things not actually to be found within the words. They are neither Lexigrams nor Acronyms nor valid divination. Have fun, but I see no valid reason to take most of them seriously or as having any deep meaning and other than playing, trying to force meaning (which is not actually all there to be found) into and out of words except your two actual little Lexigrams and your two Anagrams. Trying to blend Acronyms/phonetic substitution/Lexigram words.....just does not work. The resulting creations are all faulty and forced, and not Lexigrams, not Acronyms, but just a mess of frivolous word play. You purport to be a genius..... So........ Why not simply stick to creating great perfect Acronyms (which I assume you are able to do) instead of trying to mix "oil and water and sand"?
Seriously, I would enjoy seeing what PERFECT acronyms your mind could find! For example; you said: quote: MIND: I M N(ot) DIM
first off an acronym of MIND would begin with a word beginning with the letter "M" not the letter "I". All you have there is a lousy attempt at a Lexigram. You cannot use the contraction I'm, because you do not have the full version, I AM in the word MIND. Then trying to sneak in a thing by calling it an acronym; which it is not...when you added "ot" to get the word NOT. As a word used in an actual acronym from the word MIND; NOT would not be word number 2 in an acronym, it would be word number 3. So seriously...not sure why you have done this. It has no logic nor rational patterns as either an acronym or Lexigram would have. If you do not acronym in order of the letters in a word it is in no way an acronym. If you add letters it is not a Lexigram. The two do not mix either.....not as you did them. However that is another topic I will not explain at this time. So if you do not want to or are unable to create Lexigrams without misspelling or cheating by adding letters, then seriously; Why not simply go with the acronym angle instead?
Like: M=mind I=is N=not D=dim (or dull) or M=man I=is N=not D=dumb M=MENSA I=intelligence N=no D=dolts M=multiple I=intracranial N=nerves D=dendrites

My mind works a tad differently. Lives have and can be been saved by using C as See, 4 as for, 2 as to and U as You. It works with synchronicity. A person may see a bus with number "4C", followed by a poster of a disaster film, and choose to skip that bus that meets with an accident. My favourite spiritual acronym is from "Bruce Almighty": ARK = Acts of Random Kindness. In words, deeds and spirit

quote: My mind works a tad differently.
Yes, random, not logical. It is good to have an open mind but not so open that your common sense and logic is sacrificed or lost. And what you have attempted here, has nothing to do with Lexigramming, and the latest acronym is not valid quote:

That is related to omens, signs, divinatory symbology.Yes, it can work but; IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LEXIGRAMS nor acronyms! And sometimes a rock is just a rock, and trying to read meaning into everything leads to paranoia. quote: My favourite spiritual acronym is from "Bruce Almighty": ARK = Acts of Random Kindness. In words, deeds and spirit
NICE ONE EXCEPT....... Acts of Random Kindness does NOT = ARK. IT WOULD BE; AORK. A=ACTS O=OF R=RANDOM K=KINDNESS ARK IS NOT AN ACRONYM OF; Acts of Random Kindness The false acronym ARK, omits the "O" in of. Additionally your giving alternative meaning to letters or numbers in lieu of the actual words can and does lead to false readings and duality of meaning/definition. Far too much ambiguity there to be worth any real value. Like your letter substitution for words. C=see in your mind. Well what about the homophones? C SEA SI SEE (as in holy see) U YOU EWE YEW 4 FOR FORE FOUR 2 TO TOO TWO 2 2 TUTU B BEE BE BEA G GI GEE I AYE EYE J JAY M EM O OH P PEA PEE Q QUE R ARE T TI TEE TEA Y WHY 8 EIGHT ATE So, which definition used when using any of the substitution letters and numbers for words? It is simply ridiculous and not accurate. IT IS ALSO LAZY NET SPEAK, BAD SHORTHAND AND EVEN A SIGN OF NOT KNOWING HOW TO SPELL. Or worse, not caring about appearing illiterate. ------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Everyone is a student... Learning is eternal. }><}}(*> .☆¨¯`♥ ¸.☆¨¯`♥ ¸.☆¨¯`♥

In Lexigramming; Intentionally misspelling to force a faux meaning; Faux acronyms, Interchanging of homophones, misuse of contractions, conjunctions, and so forth, just drives me nutters! I see people doing that in Lexigramming attempts too often. In general posts, chats and so forth, I usually try and ignore such. However not in Lexigramming or in editing, book writing, journalism and so forth. http://www.bifroest.demon.co.uk/misc/homophones-list.html http://www.bifroest.demon.co.uk/misc/homophones.html ------------------ I remember, therefore I am immortal~LEXX Learning is eternal; all true Gods know this simple truth~LEXX ~Blinding ignorance does mislead us. Thank you Randall. I am sad that I have offended when that was not my intention. If blonderiverkat had carefully read this thread; it would be clear what and why the points were made by myself and iQ. Simply saying this: quote: Sure, great stuff Randall, if you enjoy negative energy, which I don't...
Is not conducive to the learning, understanding, and teaching of Lexigramming. Nor does it serve any purpose but to state a negative opinion and nothing more. I welcome discussion, but that comment has naught to do with such a desire to understand and learn about Lexigrams.------------------ I remember, therefore I am immortal~LEXX Learning is eternal; all true Gods know this simple truth~LEXX ~Blinding ignorance does mislead us. blonderiverkat Stating of Truth and Fact are not negative actions in the case of commenting on a thing which is either an actual Lexigram or not. Sorry that offends you. I will always graciously compliment a person on an actual Lexigram And help them hone their creations. However I will not lie to please you or any person; and go all ohhhh ahhhhh when it is not an actual Lexigram.iQ is not an idiot; He is quite aware of the fact that his creations are often NOT actual Lexigrams. Calling a thing gold when it is not, does not make it gold. Oh it can be quite lovely! But if not actually gold, simply saying it is gold, does not make it true. Lexigramming is something I have been doing for over 1/2 a century, 51 years to date. Longer than most folks here at LindaLand have been incarnate. THAT is a fact. If you think that makes me unqualified to comment on, and state facts on Lexigramming; then you are entitled to your point of view; albeit not logical nor based on fact. Again sad to see you are offended when no offense was intended, only clarification of facts.
