LOL I was just posting something with this title and saw RAPE in THERAPEUTIC and in THERAPIST there is the word RAPIST.

Oh dear...

Lexx or someone... have you formulated an insight yet????

Well first off "rape" could mean rape seed oil, which has been used therapeutically.
Also because the word therapeutic is of Latin origins, the Anglo Saxon word rape does not hold as much meaning here.
The Latin word for it is stuprum, literally; "disgrace"

As to therapist having the word rapist from therapist;
well a great proportion of patients they help were often rape or molestation victims.
