The Consecration of the Emperor Napoleon and the Coronation of the Empress Joséphine in Notre-Dame Cathedral on 2 December, 1804 / by Jacques-Louis David
It is said that when Napoleon first saw the painting he said with admiration: "One can walk through this painting!". It was very impressive. 6 metres high and 10 metres wide! It still is! When you visit the Louvre, go to the Red Rooms. You will also find Liberty Leading the People by Eugène Delacroix there. I believe I have shared his painting in the Feel Good Thread.

Sadly so far no good news
all pretty dreadful to date.
More tests and surgeries
for us both but it
is exhausting and
frankly often rather horrifying
to say the last.
