hi Lexigrammies!I don't really have experience with Lexigramming, though I did try a tiny bit after reading the section in Star Signs, but I have been wondering about something a long time. She said she figured out the lexigram for Earth, but wasn't going to share it then.. I wrote down as many words as I could muster up from the word Earth and have no idea.. So I am wondering if anybody here has figured out what She was talking about, or perhaps you figured your own out that you would like to share! IP: Logged |

What phrase were you Lexigramming? quote: Originally posted by Kazina: hi Lexigrammies!I don't really have experience with Lexigramming,
I do, over 1/2 a century experience Lexigramming and strict adherence to error free, no added letters or words that do not come from the "source"; the name, phrase, date, etc. I am Lexigramming. No letter limits, be they vowels or consonants. You have the letters, use them! You do not have the letters, do not add them. quote: Originally posted by Kazina: though I did try a tiny bit after reading the section in Star Signs, but I have been wondering about something a long time. She said she figured out the lexigram for Earth, but wasn't going to share it then..
What word/phrase, are you referring to? EARTH? EARTH HEART? EARTH HEART GOLD? EARTH HEART GOLD MYSTERY? quote: Originally posted by Kazina: I wrote down as many words as I could muster up from the word Earth and have no idea..

Because Linda thought Lexigramming was only for the English language, she limited herself for no logical reason. Lexigramming has been done in other languages for thousands of years. Hence words for EARTH (or any other word/name) are many more than merely the English word. Perhaps the answers are hidden within All Earth Languages, and not merely limited to an Anglocentric point of view. quote: UsageIn general English usage, the name Earth can be capitalized or spelled in lowercase interchangeably, either when used absolutely or prefixed with "the" (i.e. "Earth", "the Earth", "earth" or "the earth"). Many deliberately spell the name of the planet with a capital, both as "Earth" or "the Earth". This is to distinguish it as a proper noun, distinct from the senses of the term as a count noun or verb (e.g. referring to soil, the ground, earthing in the electrical sense, etc.). Oxford spelling recognizes the lowercase form as the most common, with the capitalized form as a variant of it. Another convention that is very common is to spell the name with a capital when occurring absolutely (e.g. Earth's atmosphere) and lowercase when preceded by "the" (e.g. the atmosphere of the earth). The term almost exclusively exists in lowercase when appearing in common phrases, even without "the" preceding it (e.g. it does not cost the earth; what on earth are you doing?). Latin roots Terms that refer to the Earth can use the Latin root terr-, as in terraform and terrestrial. An alternative Latin root is tellur-, which is used in words such as tellurian and tellurium. Such terms derive from Latin terra and tellus, which refer variously to the world, the element earth, the earth goddess and so forth.Scientific terms such as geography, geocentric, and geothermal use the Greek prefix geo- (γαιο-, gaio-), from gē (again meaning "earth").Astronauts refer to the Earth as "Terra Firma". Foreign languages The English word "earth" has cognates in many modern and ancient languages. Examples in modern tongues include aarde in Afrikaans and Dutch, and Erde in German. The root has cognates in extinct languages such as ertha in Old Saxon and ert (meaning "ground") in Middle Irish, derived from the Old English eorğe. All of these words derive from the Proto-Indo-European base *er-. Several Semitic languages have words for "earth" similar to those in Indo-European languages. Arabic has ard; Akkadian, irtsitu; Aramaic, araa; Phoenician, erets (which appears in the Mesha Stele); and Hebrew, ארץ (arets, or erets when not preceded by a definite article, or when followed by a noun modifier). The etymological connection between the words in Indo-European and Semitic languages are uncertain, though, and may simply be coincidence. The standard demonym for people from Earth is human. Alternate names that have been used in science fiction include "Terran", "Earthling", "Tellurian", "Gaian", and "Earther". Words for Earth in other languages include: Terre (French), Erde (German), Bhumi (Sanskrit), Bhumi, Ulagam (Tamil), Maa (Finnish and Estonian), Pământ (Romanian), Föld (Hungarian), Ziemia (Polish), Zemlja (Croatian, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian and Ukrainian), Zemya Земя (Bulgarian), Dinê, Erz, ZewÎ (Kurdish), Jehun, Zamin (Persian), Tierra (Spanish), Terra (Italian and Portuguese), 地球 (Diqiu [ Pinyin [Mandarin pronunciation]) (Characters used in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, with Japanese pronunciation as "chikyuu"), 지구 (Jigu (Korean), Bumi (Malay), Jorden (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish), Jørğin or jørğin (Faroese), כדור הארץ (Hebrew), Bhoomi (Telugu), Gi, Choma, khthon (Greek), Dunia (Swahili), Âlem, Dünya World الْمَسْكُونَة (Arabic), ardh' Earth in (Arabic), Ergir երկիր (Armenian), Acun, Yeryüzü, Yerküre (Turkish) , Mundo,Daigdig or Lupa in (Filipino) .[2], җир(pron. jir, Tatar) and жер(pron. zher, Qazaq).

Yes, I read it. That was not the impression I got. And what word or phrase was she trying to Lexigram? ???????????????? She seemed to have had a hard time with it and frankly I do not understand why it was so difficult for her. From any of the phrases there simply are not very many words to work with as I illustrated above for some of them.I do not know where my copy of Star Signs is at the moment. Could you or anyone please quote here, her exact writings on this topic? Especially what word or phrase she was trying to Lexigram? ------------------ NumeroLexigrams ~I remember, therefore I am immortal ~Lexxigramer IP: Logged |

The sun manifests the colour of gold at sunrise and at sunset. The latin word for gold, aurum (thus, the chemical symbol Au), derives from the Greek word Aurora - the golden goddess of the dawn. Rudolf Steiner gave ‘AU’ as the Sun-sound, so try intoning it. The word ‘aura’ comes from the same root, indicating the idea of radiance as associated with this metal. Until very recent times gold was used as a heart remedy, this being the organ associated with the sun. Homeopathic doctors still use it in this manner in high dilutions and regard it as a remedy for depressive or suicidal conditions: a ‘total eclipse of the heart’. Its distribution within the human organism reaches its highest concentration in the region of the heart. Gold is used by doctors to diagnose heart problems. As the highest concentrations of gold in the human body occur around the heart, a radio-isotope of gold has been developed (the Au-195 isotope), which can give an image of the blood-containing structures within the heart, a process called 'heart-imaging'. Gold gives a heart image! In Britain this new technology has been developed in St. Bartholomew's hospital, London. One expert described the gold used in this way as 'a very convenient medium for rapid assessment of changes in cardiac function' (3,4). Economically, gold functions as a kind of heart-centre which maintains and guarantees a circulation of paper money. oh * wow * Lexxigramer! aren't you just fabulous?! thanks for your posts! I am sorry I didn't reply, I've not really come here much and also forgot about this thread.. I am glad I did now. The lexigrams you did with the phrases are so cool!! and Emerald Opal too! they are so awesome, but I am thinking the lexigram Linda was talking about is only with the singular word Earth.. let me search online and see if I can find the excerpt from the book, sorry I didn't get it for you sooner. (I can go type it out from the book, was just hoping I could find *** to copy/paste quicker instead hehe.. but, with my google search I unearthed an older thread on this forum with someone else inquiring about it.. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/001100.html She says, Earth-Heart lexigram tho.. I thought it was only Earth just once and that's it; well I'll keep searching for the quote.. but also here's another page I came across with some cool lexigrams if you care to see I thought I'd share it in case http://www.ghostvillage.com/ghostcommunity/index.php?showtopic=8961 ) Ok, I found it, http://books.google.com/books?id=fzvTs6tix8QC&pg=PA368&lpg=PA368&dq=linda+goodman+earth+lexigram&source=bl&ots=aPBldAOMSn&sig=iu_a1kLztzE10-sCy8suPHzCo8M&sa=X&ei=NUozUK72NrOw0AHP7Y G4Bg&ved=0CDkQ6AEwCA#v=onepage&q=linda%20goodman%20earth%20lexigram&f=false and I was wrong, hehe I could go through and correct this post to omit the parts about my thinking it was only Earth, but I won't do that. it's so weird though, I wonder why I thought so surely it was only Earth, I mean after I read the part of the book, I wrote the word Earth down and explored all the words to be found within it.. and I don't recall once realizing that it wasn't just Earth I was supposed to be trying to solve lol.. how strange.. well anyways =) aside the true lexigram she meant, which there are some lovely examples of in here, it is cool how many words are in Earth, especially Heart. and all of the stuff you told me about gold, how exciting!!! that it surrounds our hearts.. and I am wondering, what significance do you make of the cow horns having gold? and is it just male or a certain kind of cows that have horns? and also thank you for the information about Al Gore, I had no idea. I never cared much for politics.. but now I just started getting into stuff like saving the world lol and that sort of thing, so naturally now I do care cuz I see what is going on.. really great information, thank you very much! ♥ oh and lastly, "Symbol 26:8 In the body 2609" in regards to that, was that in reference to me and something I posted elsewhere? or were you just saying it for this thread? .. it seems a little crazy if you never saw me say those numbers and just brought it up out of the blue to do with this thread.. but My birthday is on September 26th, 26 making me an 8 in Linda's broadest terms according to her book in the section of Numerology, and the 26/09 would be how some countries would say the date of my birth.. though I live in the U.S. and we put the month first.. well hehe sorry I was gone so long, and I hope you let me know about that soon cuz I am really curious if it was a coincidence or you said it pertaining to me specifically
