In some cases you will just go on-line and put in a code from the post card. In other cases, you will do nothing unless you want to opt out.IP: Logged |

Easy peasy! You can opt out if you want to retain your right to sue them yourself.IP: Logged |

Hardly anyone opts out, even though they would get a lot more money by doing so.IP: Logged |

Opting out one would have to pay their own attorney fees. Many could not afford to do so.IP: Logged |

Plus the trouble of finding one. Many think it's easy money to just sign a form, post a number online, or even do nothing...but then they see how little they receive.IP: Logged |

The lawyer gets an amount approved by the court, and the rest is split. So, if the lawyer gets 30% on $10 million, that's a huge payday, while there may be so many in the class that each person only ends up with a few dollars.IP: Logged |
