Yes it will! I intend to do a formal submission to Oxford when the time is right. I am making a case for it under about at least 3 somewhat related definitions; one being Lexigramming as a variant of Anagramming but is not simply nor always anagramming; hence "Lexigramming". When I am ready I will collect "witnesses" from here and the internet to illustrate the prevalence of what we call Lexigramming. The problem is the original definition in use for almost 1/2 a century to date; is not related to the esoteric meaning at all. We (my great grandarents etc.), had called ours Lexagrames and my husband's grandmother had called them Lexagrams decades before Linda inadvertently used the already in use word of the Yerkish Ape language keyboards with the symbols called Lexigrams. For a picture of such a "lexigram" board click on this link. http://www.suprmchaos.com/yerkish9_mam.jpg quote: Yerkish is an artificial language developed for use by non-human primates. It employs a keyboard whose keys contain lexigrams, symbols corresponding to objects or ideas.A lexigram represents a word but is not necessarily indicative of the object to which it refers. Lexigrams were notably used by the Georgia State University Language Research Center to communicate with bonobos and chimpanzees. Researchers and primates were able to communicate using lexigram boards made in up to three panels with a total of 384 keys.

Thank you Randall! Thank you Mirage29! Thank you Love&Light! Nope; no cake. The bathroom floor gave way and now toilet does not work. so been trying to fix that costly mess when we are both sick to boot and not in the money, Yippie ugh. Sigh; oh well; just have to keep trying and not go mad. At least illness over and over made me lose 50 pounds in last year or so. So weird birthday to say the least. All one can do is laugh and go on. What a crazy circus. I apologize for not posting much for awhile. Chaos has been an understatement here for past 6 months or so. Not going to post my running tide of woes here. Not good to say the least. May 2019 be a better year. I do not feel 64 despite all going on negative in my world. Though it is a bit unnerving to see myself in mirrors and photos these days. I very very rarely look at myself. I do not recognize that scary white streaked saggy face person. Oh well. Hope to get some Lexigrams posted for the holidays and some links to our new in progress site.------------------ Click here to read My Lexigramming Biography: over 1/2 a century to date ♥ Lexigramming ♥ }><}}('> IP: Logged |

Hope you are keeping warm this winter? I remember the challenges you had a few winters ago with even the water in your commode freezing? brrrrrr. Hope your heater is working well, and that you are doing the best you can with your body. IP: Logged |

Apologies for my not being around of late. Hopefully will be back and active here soon. Have lost much of my vision because of neurological issues and waiting to be able to afford to get some way to see better again. $$$$$ is a prohibitive matter. Also nearly died in November 2018. The past year has been awful to say the least. Mostly bed bound. Winter has been hard too; no furnace. Brrrr. However; Been helping my husband work on our Lexagramming site and more. Will unveil soon hopefully. I shall return! Thank you all for your patience.
