*** quote: Originally posted by MoonMystic I did test my IQ online, I think in 1999, it was the top 7% iir. I have, in recent years been tagged by an associate or two as 'Aspbergers'. Idk about that though. Just a label. In a nutshell, I'm different, yet very ordinary.
My IQ frustrates me in a way. I feel I should be super rich. Oh well. I guess the higher one's IQ is; more often than not; they never really feel like they belong anywhere; never really fit in; avoid people; become reclusive; or self destruct. I think the hardest part is feeling stupid. Seems that the more intelligent one is; the more they realize they do not know and never will know. Lives are too short; and I want to learn forever! I have always felt like a freak.:'( My IQ rating is: 99.9999951684% rarity or 1/20,696,863. Yeah, sigh; 1 in nearly 21 million makes me feel so very alone/lonely in many ways. I almost became an agent. I turned the offers down. But that is something I will not go into online. quote: Originally posted by MoonMystic: Yes, the ego is so easy to revert to. I know, even I'm stuck in ego mode more than I like. I'm still working through my shadow work. Thus my pursuit to learn here! The bigger picture. I better quit here, sending (((hugs)))
Ego is a good thing! So is Id. It is when it becomes egocentric and narcissistic that problems arise. Self awareness and self love is a positive thing. Will post more about that in my next post.IP: Logged |

**** Ego is a positive thing! quote: e·go ˈēɡō/ noun a person's sense of self-esteem or self-importance.synonyms: self-esteem, self-importance, self-worth, self-respect, self-image, self-confidence. PSYCHOANALYSIS the part of the mind that mediates between the conscious and the unconscious and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identity. PHILOSOPHY (in metaphysics) a conscious thinking subject.
Id is also a positive thing! quote: id noun PSYCHOANALYSIS the part of the mind in which innate instinctive impulses and primary processes are manifest.
quote: Id, ego, and super-ego are the three parts of the psychic apparatus defined in Sigmund Freud's structural model of the psyche; they are the three theoretical constructs in terms of whose activity and interaction our mental life is described. According to this model of the psyche, the id is the set of uncoordinated instinctual trends; the super-ego plays the critical and moralizing role; and the ego is the organized, realistic part that mediates between the desires of the id and the super-ego. The super-ego can stop one from doing certain things that one's id may want to do.
More here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Id,_ego_and_super-ego Of course the ego/id/super ego can become unbalanced. Each in and of themselves are neither negative or positive. I hope that made sense.

[QUOTE] Yes, a premmie, about 26 weeks instead of 40 weeks. I was 4 1/2 pounds but dropped to like 2 pounds before I was allowed to go home after a few months in an incubator. My mother also tried to drown me in the hospital toilet shortly after my birth. I had heart troubles too.It seems she had a rapid traumatic delivery. [\QUOTE] LEXX, I'm replying in small amounts (I get challenged in this department too.)
Hopefully the air quality improves soon. We barely made it to 60° this week. They promise it will be 68° by the wkend. *fingers crossed * -You were pretty early, indeed! Wow, I'm so sorry you had such a tragic beginning. To lose almost half your original weight, you are so fortunate to be here. Especially since in that time the medical establishment wasn't AS clued in as they have become with time. Even with my birth time, they were not too together with newborn education. Hospitals anyway. I believe midwives probably knew more. I was 33days early and weighed 4.4 when born and dropped to 4#. I wasn't sent home until I got beyond 5#. Thanks for sharing your charts. You definitely have a lot of Scorpio in your chart. Would it be alright if I look it on Astro.com? You have a deep mind bit your natal emphasizes the energies. (I'm still new to Astrological studies. Wish I had learned so much earlier as it's a deep area of study, with your mind, if you've not learned it too much, perchance it bores you or your time you prefer spent elsewhere ? . ) (Incidentally my typos are so bad, so far exceeding about 30x!) You had an interesting love life though, the Europe one must have been fun whilst it was current for you. His decision might have cleared the path for a much better suitor! As I mentioned I was bullied too,I was never aggressive or willing to be part of battles. Even when the bullied would shove or, kick, hit me. I developed a love of the tether ball on school breaks. I was the best in my time at that school .A few classmates named me Rocky. As Sylvester Stallone was good with hitting in his film Rocky. It was therapeutic as well, a few adult males treated me wrong as well. I felt empowered and my bullies began to stop, I think they knew I was able to fight -if I chose to. Earthlings are what we are here on this rock. Yet I 'feel' strongly there's much truth of differnt places, dimensions and types of beings. In my current existing life now, I'm an Earthling, in this human body.
More reply coming soon.

[Pt 2 reply] I have outgrown my friends. Oddly I'm nothing like I was when I had 3D friends. Then I was an extrovert in some way but alcohol did play a role. Those friends were not of that nature my mind has evolved to since about my 32nd year. I understand where you're coming from about having noone over. My mother has friends that are kind of secondary friends, I like them. I can't seem to meet like minded people that might be friend types. You've had a plentiful love life. I've known people in their late 50s-60s who haven't ever loved or been loved, which I find sad. Mostly because they have been wanting it yet unwelcoming of it. Experience isn't always good but we appreciate good romance when there measure of bad to compare it too. Glad to hear you got back together with your husband, 20 years is a time and heart investment. Conventional or unconventional -- Congratulations on the longevity! You wrote:

I question everything and think my mind needs a vacation -yet I won't ruin it with drugs or alcohol. So those avenues aren't valid choices for me. lol I'm going to look into meditation again. Shutting the mind down can be good. It's like renewal or rebooting for me. You shouldn't feel stupid for being differnt. You're unique. No freak either. It just takes more higher minded individuals to understand and embrace you as you are. On LL you have lots who appreciate you too! I'm nowhere as exceptional as you but I know I fit in nowhere, as I don't partake in social media, gossip, current events, which most people expect in making friends. *sigh* It is frustrating to say the least. I'm working on learning and maybe someday I'll meet similar people to me. I hope. (I will in the future welcome new babies). You can still be rich in other ways. You are gifted with an incredible intelligence which might bring countless other matters of wealth. I completely get you though about wanting comfort and quality of life. My life is a bit struggled there too. Maybe blessings will be granted for us. (((Hugs)))

I think my SuperEgo is the part that gets me in my own way. My Ego spirals between both sides of the energies. At times I catch myself on that, like a snag that likely might go unseen. Yet there I am, facing the ugly side of my ego. :/ I've tried to figure out my ID. In my time I've had selfless behavior, yet less than what may balance me out, I'm afraid. I'm working on balance and understanding in these portions of 'self'. Thank you for sharing these facets of the human psyche.

Sadly I am pretty sure the new neighbors killed the mom cat and 4 kittens and my big old cat too who went outside. Fraking stinking evil cat haters.

It is not a help when trying to be social. On the other hand it helps me maintain my rather reclusive lifestyle. I enjoy my self company. I do not get bored. There is always something to do and or think about that does not require contact with people.
