Posting my rant at SPITR helps some. I feel somewhat weak having the need to rant and bemoan; but sometimes it is necessary to keep one's sanity it seems. I don't like being weak. I try to keep most to myself; but there are times when it all overwhelms me too much. It is those times when I cannot think how to proceed and leaves me feeling incapacitated not just physically as usual; but emotionally exhausted and befuddled too. IP: Logged

That makes sense. Sometimes I gain new perspectives or at least a slant to things when reading various rants from folks. And yes; ranting helps a little. Bottling it up makes me slide closer to the edge. The weight becomes terrible. I tell myself to hold on, give it 24 hours; then rant and keep doing that as much as needed to keep going. I don't like feeling so naked and vulnerable though. Some people have said things like; "I thought you were always so strong! (with an implied of...ewww, you're weak now..how dare you! ...) Or "we" need you or "I" need you...to be strong!...That drives me nutters! Like I am not allowed to cave in like others? Strong is too often a cover, a front; but after awhile; one gets tired of giving and being strong for everyone else. OK...I am ranting rambling....Thank you again Randall! IP: Logged
