Sorry for not being here much. No; it seems to be another sinus infection affecting my face and teeth again. And a viral one too; sore throat and congestion. No; the sinus problems causing reoccurring infections will not resolve for good without surgery to open up the bony overgrowth and trapped retention cyst. And cannot get to doctor because our 17 year old car has lost its power steering; rack and pinions; brakes; rotors and the engine is only attached on one side. So we are basically screwed beyond big time. Absolutely no idea how we can survive without a car. No idea how to get another either. And my precious cat has been sick too; lost 1/2 his weight and about 1/2 his hair. And my husband cannot take one of his important meds due to bad side effects and the safer one insurance will not cover. So now have to worry about him becoming sicker. Suffice it to say; anxiety and depressing run high here these days. And weather getting cooler; and still not furnace and space heaters with old wiring is not good. nd no house insurance if something were to happen because they cancelled our policy because out hose is falling apart and decrepit. Yeah I am complaining. I feel so lost. Iam wearing the monthly contact lenses for like from 48 to 60 months too. I sterilize them intensely; I even nuke them; but sure need to get some new ones. But with no insurance and no money to spare..... I am having more troubles seeing...ugh. Cataracts, yippie; another thing insurance does not cover. My woes would fill pages....so enough for now about them.... So please bear with me. I am definitely not at my best. Life pretty much sucks. Thank you for caring. It does help some psychologically.

Thank you for caring Randall. Sigh..... Astrologically there has to be something freaky going on. Now I discovered my drivers license is missing and $150.00 in Busy Beaver gift cards. Total mystery. The only thing I can think is they fell out at the pharmacy and someone kept them. Does not seem likely though because they were in my wallet and had no reason to all fall out when I had to show my driver's license. My cat is sicker too. And so are my husband and I. Don't know how we are going to get through all this very bad luck. Just doing our best. Facebook is a distraction; but even that does not help improve our lives and moods. Been watching season 7 of TWD; and oddly am not getting interested like before. Too much stress; cannot concentrate well; even for passive entertainment. Oh well. One day at a time.IP: Logged |

PS. Randall; any ideas how to handle religious people saying they will pray for me if I sign up for a GoFundMe account? I noticed an awful lot of folks getting lots of prayers but not money. I would become angry at people spouting worthless prayer drivel at me trying to pretend they care and are helping. I would either have to ignore them or start out saying I do not believe in or want prayers. Trouble is; in this country; Atheists are one of the most hated groups of people. But I also do not want to be fake and thank the religious people when I am far far from thankful and am instead quite offended that they would assume I am one of them. I simply cannot lie even though I desperately need money or the equivalent; as in a car as a gift. Or a stove(do not have a working one) or help repairing the furnace or a WalMart gift card so I can get new contact lenses, or whatever money ot help. I am considering seeing if there is a version of GoFundMe for Atheists or some kind of organization who would help Atheists who are in desperate need. Just feeling so lost and not coping well. Thank you for reading my rant. IP: Logged |

They are still sending positive energy your way. If I were you, I'd bite my tongue and just thank them.IP: Logged |

Lexx, pls just take this however you wish. I'm not trying to add frustration whatsoever. It never feels helpful when others just use words. I understand but some have behind their words. I believe most here do. I respect your not wanting prayers but my heart is behind my words, therefore my energy is being sent forth towards tremendous healing for you. (((Lexx)))

That would mean I would have to be fake and lie , because I would not be thankful for such things. And I do not believe it is positive energy coming from such people; but toxic self serving "look at me! See! I am helping! See how fraking nice I am!" Utterly disgusting! And the ones who are sincere are brainwashed and I really do not want to placate them by lying and thanking them for something I find revolting. I would never ask them to drop their beliefs (which I see as a form of mass insanity); in order to help one of them out. But it seems Christians do not feel the same. The moment they find out one is an Atheist; oh man can things get ugly; and in my experience have many times and oddly the medical community is the worse usually! And as I said before; at best prayers do absolutely nothing; but at worse can go horribly wrong. People pray that someone gets free of pain or poverty. The universe or whatever will take the quickest and easiest path to fulfill such prayers/wishes/spells/voodoo. I do not believe in any deities; but do think mass groups of people can summon. Trouble is; most have no idea how to do such correctly; nor the trickle down short or long term of their "request" or summons.. So like getting wishes from a jinn; hings will never happen without a negative twist. So they pray for Betty to be free of her poverty and pain. Betty dies. They praying folks cry "oh why did Betty die?" I just think; you stupid fools; you all killed Betty. She is indeed out of pain and poverty! Your "payers were answered! So in a nutshell; I do not want even if well meant; the misguided and useless or potentially dangerous prayers from Christians. Why should one have to drop their integrity just to get help? The world sucks. Especially for Atheists. People sending generic wishes for good fortune to be mine; that is cool; but anything beyond that; please do not bother.IP: Logged |

I know you are sincere.; but I did not request such a thing from you nor anyone. 'However in a nutshell the best and safest well wishes anyone can send to anyone; including myself; are the generic kind; no specifics given; which eliminates much of the potential for things to go horribly wrong. Even your kind hearted wish for healing can go wrong. Please see my reply to Randall. See; from my point of view; wishing me "tremendous healing" is a potentially negative thing for me in this incarnation. Most of my health issues are totally incurable. The only way I can experience "tremendous healing" is to a die and reincarnate into a brand new body. This current body is beyond experiencing "tremendous healing". So I must reject your kindness and summon that energy returns to you. As much as my life in this body sucks; I am not yet ready to leave it. Sorry.
