By many accounts, Mark Twain was fascinated by technology and electricity, in particular. Visiting New York in the 1890s, he became friends with Nikola Tesla, who had an interest in Mark Twain, having read some of his early works when he was recovering from a life-threatening illness in the 1870s http://bigthink.com/high-culture/the-secret-to-mark-twains-friendship-with-nikola-tesla IP: Logged |

Nikola Tesla and Mark Twain were friends and mutual admirers. Tesla – recognized as a scentist, inventor and discoverer, Twain – famous writer, travel writer and a satirist – both of them were real dreamers. http://www.researchgate.net/search/publication?q=Tesla+and+twain IP: Logged |

Some ANAGRAMS from the letters of the name MARK TWAINI WANT MARK MARK AN WIT KARMA TWIN A WARM KNIT Not sure those mean much but he was known as a writer and man of WIT. Could a KARMA TWIN indicate that he had a birth name and a pen name and both names belonging to himself indicates perhaps that his KARMA did not change because he had changed his name? Perhaps the ANAGRAM I WANT MARK indicates that he was more comfortable going by the name MARK TWAIN rather than his birth name SAMUEL LANGHORNE CLEMENS Edit to made some more😎 A TWIN MARK MARK A TWIN WIN AT MARK MARK AT WIN So what can be indicated as being relevant to the man himself⁉️ I shall return with definitions and more analysis concerning these ANAGRAMS 😎 Wow the definition list for MARK is extensive😎😳 I will need to search it for the best relevancies to MARK TWAIN and his writings etcetera 😎 Seeing many definitions to indicate possible meanings for these ANAGRAMS A TWIN MARK MARK A TWIN WIN AT MARK MARK AT WIN Wow😎 ------------------

A very intriguing ANAGRAM from the letters of the nameMARK TWAIN AA I K M N R T W MARK WITAN This ANAGRAM from his pen name letters is very much in ways a description and or indicator of even past lives and interests in history which is very much a great part of the influences shown in many of his writings😎 I will list those books and stories and that bear any relevancy to the word: WITAN Including even personal contacts and interests of historical and or political nature. Also descriptive of the man MARK TWAIN himself😎 quote: WITAN wit·an /ˈwitn/ noun another term for witenagemot.wit·e·na·ge·mot noun HISTORICAL noun: witenagemot; plural noun: witenagemots an Anglo-Saxon national council or parliament. Origin Old English, from witena, genitive plural of wita ‘wise man’ + gemōt ‘meeting’ http://languages.oup.com/
quote: WitanThe Witan, literally "wise men", was the king's council in Anglo-Saxon England from before the seventh century until the 11th century. It was composed of the leading magnates, both ecclesiastic and secular, and meetings of the council were sometimes called the Witenagemot. Significance The Witan. The Witan was the occasion when the King would call together his leading advisors and nobles to discuss matters affecting the country. It existed only when the King chose and was made up of those individuals whom he particularly summoned. http://www.parliament.uk › overview Anglo-Saxon origins - UK Parliament witan significance Origin It is generally accepted that the English witenagemot had its origins in ancient Germanic assemblies summoned to witness royal grants of land. Yet whatever their status in the fourth and fifth centuries, the nature of these assemblies in England was irrevocably changed when Christianity was introduced, circa A.D.600. http://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Wit... More about VITAN quote: Anglo-Saxon origins The modern UK Parliament can trace its origins all the way back to two features of Anglo-Saxon government from the 8th to 11th centuries. These are the Witan and the moot. The Witan The Witan was the occasion when the King would call together his leading advisors and nobles to discuss matters affecting the country. It existed only when the King chose and was made up of those individuals whom he particularly summoned. The Witan's main duty was to advise the King, but its assent was not necessary for the King to take action. Nor did it help frame the laws, as the modern Parliament does, but primarily consented to the laws the King had already decided to enact. However, Anglo-Saxon Kings realised that they could not govern their territories without local support from these powerful men, and so began the delicate balancing act between the King's power and the power of those he governed. After the Norman Conquest, Kings of England began to govern through a smaller but permanent inner council of advisers and officials, but occasionally the King would call on additional nobles (earls and barons) and churchmen (bishops and abbots) to gain their approval of his decisions, especially regarding taxation. This larger group of noble advisors especially summoned was known as the Great Council (magnum concilium) and it formed the basis for the modern Upper House of Parliament - today the House of Lords. Moots Also, under the Anglo-Saxons there had been regular meetings, or moots, for each county (or shire) where cases were heard and local matters discussed. The 'shire moot' was attended by the local lords and bishops, the sheriff, and most importantly, four representatives of each village. After the Conquest, this meeting became known as the County Court and it introduced the idea of representative government at the local level. These two gatherings remained separate for many centuries, but eventually the noble councillors of the Great Council and the local spokesmen of the County Court would combine to make a Parliament of two Houses, the aristocratic Lords and the locally representative Commons. Did you know? The word Witan comes from the Anglo-Saxon phrase Witana Gemot or Meeting of the Wise Men.

The word WITAN appears from his pen name alone. Howeverwit·an /ˈwitn/ noun another term for witenagemot. appears when the pen name MARK TWAIN is merged with his birth name SAMUEL LANGHORNE CLEMENS The complete letter sequencing is AAAA C EEEE G H I K LLL MMM NNN O RR SS T U W We find the words that can only be found when the two names are merged and letters sequenced. I this instance it is the word; witenagemot. WITENAGEMOT A EE G I M N O T W which can be clearly found in the UNION sequencing of both his birth and pen name but not in either alone. (A)-AAA C-(E)-(E)-EE-(G)-H-(I)-K LLL- (M)-MM-(N)-NN-(O)-RR SS-(T)-U-(W) 😎 Wow😳😎 Edit to add😎 Did you know? The word Witan comes from the Anglo-Saxon phrase Witana Gemot or Meeting of the Wise Men. That exact phrase cannot be found but word substitutions can make it work😎 THE TERM WITAN IS ANCIENT ANGLO WHICH MEANS WITANA GEMOT OR MEETING O' THE WISE MEN😎 There is not a letter "F" To get the or of, so went with the archaic form which is O'. Also word TERM was used in lieu of WORD because their is not a letter D to be found in any forms of his names. We could also use NAME in lieu of WORD or TERM. Also O' in lieu of OF we could go with the word WITH as in meeting with instead of meeting of. Could not get SAXON either so w nt with ANCIENT ANGLO instead. So here we can see that even with so many letters and 5 being vowels, there are still many words which cannot be found from any of his name's letter sequences.
