http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/001842.html Check out Lexigram Magic also.Is that ALL the letters of your FULL NAME? Is it your birth or married name? Are you male or female? Birthdate? You said: quote: I'm new to this but would love to learn it~
The easiest way is to use the generator...it will help prevent mistakes. However if you wish to go from scratch.... using your FULL NAME SEQUENCE; A B C D E H II NN O RR T W Y to find words.... you can do that. Simply remember, do NOT ADD any letters you do NOT have. Do NOT remove letters, whether vowels or consonants you DO have. ------------------ Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

You have alot of number words.NINE NINETY NINTH ONE TEN THIRD TWO And a few time words: DAY YEAR TODAY NOW THEN WHEN And helpful pronouns: I ANOTHER ANY ANYONE BOTH EACH HE HER IT NONE ONE OTHER THEIR THEY THINE THY WE WHAT WHO YE And more helpful words for connecting other words! I A AN AND ARE OR NOR NOT OTHER THEN THAN BOTH AT BY IN INTO BEYOND ON TO WITH WITHIN BEHIND BE CAN DO YET NOW NEW NAY WHY OK....try Lexigramming on your own first. I love it when folks give Lexigramming a go themselves. I prefer to help them hone what they have come up with and replace words not found within the original/source they are Lexigramming, with synonyms they do have or a new phrase that means the same thing they did not have the word(s) for. Ultimately, the best person to Lexigram your own name, is YOU! To have another do it is akin to asking them: "paint a picture for me about my favorite things". Unless they know you well, how can they do it? Try doing it for yourself. I shall be happy to help you refine it or correct it, or add to it if you desire.

Fascinating about your grandchild! OK... Do you have a married name or any nickname(s)? I like starting with ones' FULL BIRTH NAME. This can reveal ones' life path potentials. Then I would continue with current FULL MARRIED NAME, which can reveal aspects about your married self. Then I would compare it with the birth name to see what new aspects were introduced, and what both have in common. Hyphenating your married name with your birth name can reveal even more of the complete you, if married. Once divorced, previous married names influences are negated/neutralized. And last but not least, your full name now with any nicknames. This can reflect how others see you, or you see yourself, depending on where you acquired the nickname(s). Same for childhood nicknames in conjunction with the full name used as a child. It can get quite complicated when titles such as Doctor, Reverend, President, and so forth are factored in. Such can reveal aspects one has whilst on the job. IP: Logged |

The letters that I listed are my full name using my first, middle, and maiden last name. Yes, I am married and the letters that would be added are B E N RR U. Also, I don't have any nick names that I use on a regular basis, but do have a couple of childhood nicknames. Here's what I've come up with so far: BAD THYROID A BAND WITH A WITCHY ICON A ROBE AND A THORNY CROWN WORD NICHE A WRITER A RIDER BIRTHDAY TWIN BEYOND DEATH A WITCH WITHIN NOT RICH NINE NINE NINETY NINE THE TRIO A BITCHY INDIAN WITH AN IRON HEART RED ROBIN I CRY WITHIN RIDE THE WIND ETCH BOND IN HEART WHY NOT TRY TO BOND BRAID OWN HAIR BEWITCH THY HEART

FABULOUS! Totally error free! Did you do it on your own or use the program? Either way...... You did a really great job! Many non newbies cheat and add letters they do not have, and too often have dozens of errors in their Lexigramming attempts. One I came across kept using "SOLE" in lieu of "SOUL"......which made their Lexigram attempt invalid/untrue....and they had in total at least 58 errors from misspelling to added letters, hyphenating to try and sneak words they did not have, like the word LEARNING by spelling it as LEARNI-NG, and the homophonic cheating of trying to use sole in lieu of soul. I am amazed at your Lexigram! Is it your first? Keep going.....you appear to already have the hang of it! ------------------ Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. IP: Logged |

I looked at the word generator and used the word, "thyroid." The rest I did on my own. I've always been word oriented. Must be my Gemini Moon and Ascendant? I learned the alphabet backwards at age 5, and have always loved word games, puzzles, etc. I came up with a couple of more.WORD WARDEN-I'm always on people about using correct grammar and punctuation. ANN AND NANCY ARE HEART ANNIE-my youngest daughters lifelong nickname. A RAY IN EACH NEW DAY I WONDER WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHY, AND HOW? IN WINTER I WANDER RAINBOW RAY ON A RAINY DAY A BRAIN DRAIN BRAINY NOT BRAWNY ORBIT THE EARTH EARTH DAY BIRTHDAY-my youngest was born on Earth Day. EACH NEW DAY ENCHANT YET ANOTHER ORB TRY ANOTHER DIET AREN'T I WORDY TODAY A CONTAINER TO RETAIN THE RAIN A NEW WAY TO RETRAIN THE BRAIN IP: Logged |

That is wonderful! It is also the best way to use a generator....to assist, not totally rely on it. I also see you used the contraction ARE'NT. You have both ARE and NOT, so you can use it legitimately! You are a natural at Lexigramming! Are these the first Lexigrams you have ever done? IP: Logged |

Yes, this is the first time of done lexigramming. As a child, we used to do a lot of those exercises in school where they give you a word, phrase, or sentence and you had to make as many words from that as you could come up with. I loved and still do, those types of challenges. I'm going now to check out the website you suggested. Would this make sense as far as a lexigram? You are definitely a natural talent for it! quote: As a child, we used to do a lot of those exercises in school where they give you a word, phrase, or sentence and you had to make as many words from that as you could come up with.
THAT IS EXACTLY how I became passionate about doing Lexigramming! (except it was at first with my great grandparents) You WERE LEXIGRAMMING! The finding of words that way, is Lexigramming! Anagramming is when you only rearrange the letters. A Lexigram is the arranging your Lexigram words into sentences. Finding the words is also Lexigramming, just not a Lexigram yet. quote: I loved and still do, those types of challenges.
It is wonderful brain candy and even serious study and a meditation focus. quote: I'm going now to check out the website you suggested.
I think you will enjoy it! quote: Would this make sense as far as a lexigram?BIRTH CHART DOTH CONTAIN BOTH CHIRON AND NORTH NODE TRINED TWICE.
YES!!!!!!!!!! quote: **Thank You for all of the compliments LEXX. Finally, I've found something I'm good at .
You are welcome! And you are definitely good at it! Just stick to ethics and do not cheat and add letters not to be found in your source, like far too many folks do. I feel this saying exemplifies my view about Lexigramming! quote: If a Thing's Worth Doing, It's Worth Doing Right

I posted this elsewhere, but it is more about my Lexigramming passion, so felt I should post it here also. quote: A comparison betwixt Linda and mysELF.(and yes, ELF is in my name, as is FAIRY, FAERIE! And my husband who shares my interest in Lexigramming, has ELVES, ELVIN, ELVEN, in his name) Linda was introduced to the concept of Lexigramming in 1970, at the age of almost 45 years old. Star Signs was published in 1987, about 17 years after her introduction to Lexigramming. Linda was then 62 years old. Her Lexigramming interests spanned approximately 25 years total. I was introduced to Lexigramming at the age of 4. I began actually Lexigramming at the age of 5. That means I have been Lexigramming for nigh onto 50 years to date. That is twice Linda's 25 year interest in them. I was 4 years old and Linda was 45 years old.... At the times we were first introduced to Lexigramming. My initiation took place in my life some 41 years before her initiation did. My mind was the innocent unbiased mind of a child when I began my passion for Lexigramming and not the mind of a middle aged, possibly menopausal woman with many personal preconceptions and biases. My journey into Lexigramming began over 11 years before Linda's did. Additionally, my husband's introduction to Lexigramming also began when he was a child. His has had the interest for about 33 years to date. That is 8 years longer than Linda's years of interest in them. We were both introduced to them by Great Grandparents and Grandparents. His Grandparent's word for them was Lexagrams. My Great Grandparent's name for them was Lexigrammes. I have posted this because I am getting quite annoyed at being told in various ways, that I do them wrong, or don't follow Linda's methods/concepts completely, and being told my Lexigrams are invalid. In my opinion, Lexigramming was not Linda's main passion, Astrology and numerology was. If it were her true calling, she would have birthed many more Lexigrams in those 25 years.

A SHORT HISTORY OF LEXIGRAMMINGMore bio; My first Lexigrams came about when I was about 5 years old whilst sitting utterly bored in church in 1959 I was doodling on the back of the sermon program foldout. I noticed that GOD became DOG by simply rearranging the letters. I did not know it at the time, but I had at that moment discovered Lexigrams/Anagrams for myself! Fascinated I then began "playing" with the name: "GOD". GO GOD GO! GO DOG GO! GO OG GO! I was laughing myself silly and got slapped for it. LOL! However in that moment of a wordy/letter eureka, I was addicted to Lexigramming! I continued looking.... JESUS....has the word US in it! Later whilst visiting my Great Grandmother; my parents told her about my "playing" with the letters found in names and words. By that time I had already Lexigrammed the names of my parents and siblings. Great Grandma was utterly thrilled!♥ ♥ ♥ She brought out of the attic old antique "ANAGRAM" game boards, and Scrabble game, and helped me take my interest in Lexigramming to a higher level. I drove teachers bonkers because in school I would be doing Lexigramming rather than paying attention in classes. Oops! LOL! By time I was 7 years old in 1961 (and a sickly child, with poor eyesight...plenty of time to Lexigram) I was dreaming them, creating them in my dreams! I usually did and still have paper and pencil, or pen nearby to jot down my Lexigrams that come in dreams. We called them Lexagrams. ------------------ Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. IP: Logged |

Wow! All that you have told me is very interesting LEXX. So actually started LEXIGRAMMING at age 5 or so, and here I am at age 44.5 renewing my interest for it. I just have to ask if either you or your husband are lefties? I have a theory as far as I am concerned that the knack for it may have to do with being, "right brained." I was going to ask you if you strictly adhere to Linda's rules, but you answered that for me already. And about the "if a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing right." Guess what??? This has been my number one motto for as long as I can remember!! I use it in all things great and small. There ain't no half-steppin' with me! I would never intentionally cheat by adding letters as I would know, and it just wouldn't feel right. So let me get this straight-if I were to use a word such as AREN'T, yet there was actually no "O" in the name being lexied then that would cancel the statement/phrase as it would make it untrue? I went to the Phrontistery website yesterday, and spent over two hours therein. I really like it. I haven't yet gotten a chance to look at your blogs, but that's next on my list .IP: Logged |
