THREE is that which brings stability to the nature of TWO, creating a more balanced triad that allows both interaction with a now distinct separation.

It is the number of a triangle, a perfectly balanced object. Even when one or two sides of a triangle are larger than another, the object will still come to a stable rest and find its own harmony.

THREE is a mental number, bringing into balance both the Spiritual aspect of ONE and the Physical perspective of TWO. It represents other trinities as well – past, present, future. It shows the three dimensions of length, breadth, and thickness. THREE also symbolizes more celestial virtues such as faith, hope, and charity as well as the religious connotations of father-son-spirit.

This number shows harmony among concepts and ideas that are being fully realized or developed along with two others. It is the expression of desire.

THREE is a Prime number. Each time the number One is added to a number, it creates a new symbolic level above that which had existed before. Some numbers, such as TWELVE can be divided between the energies of FOUR and the energies of THREE. Prime numbers, however, can only be divided by themselves and ONE. The element of matter solidified, that which has been created. FOUR is a mental number and signifies order, classification and the expansion of an idea into reality, bringing with it further strength, power, wisdom and solidity.
