It was weird. I used up all my collard greens and the callaloo had to have a pesticide on it so I didn't want to touch it.I figured I would juice basil today. I juiced it and felt so peaceful like I took a drug. I thought wow, that was weird. I looked it up and sure enough it is used for anxiety and depression . ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Tulsi Tea is made from Basil. I was supposed to start drinking it four years ago. I have some in the cupboard somewhere.IP: Logged |

Does it taste like lemon, as the name implies?IP: Logged |

Oh yes; sorry, I did Not see this!Yes, it has a lemon flavour, the aroma is Divine. It looks a lot like the species, but with a; well, a more lemon-coloured leaf, very succulent. All three are completely different. Let me think, the Holy Basil was the Tulsi Tea one, and the Thai Basil was the sort of anise flavoured one used in some Thai dishes. All very good! IP: Logged |

I’m going to try growing Eritrean basil this year. No idea what it smells or tastes like, but it can’t not be good.IP: Logged |

I wrote down a list of essential oils that are good for hormonal balance in the summer. I noticed that basil was one of them. IP: Logged |

While I was ordering my water crest seeds, I also looked at their essential oils. I put basil oil in my cart because that's one that is not in a lot of stores. I also purchased a collagen basil drink. The naturalist at my hospital also recommended basil supplements for me. I think they help a little. But not a miracle. IP: Logged |
