After the insertion, you may feel sensations on the acupoints. It could be numbness, electric shock-like feeling, soreness, hot or cold sensation. Where can you go for an acupuncture session in US? Also, the needles go in weird places like above the belly button and on the head lol When I say "hurt", the needles are not deep and are super thin but could freak you out if you have any sort of a needle phobia.
