It is incredible how we are continually discovering new species... and to think that we are connected to all life on earth, even life yet undiscovered. This was from last year - September - so I don't know if it was posted here in the past:"Typical cave-dwelling organisms, unpigmented and eyeless, were discovered in a karst area located in northeastern Brazil. The organisms were assigned to a new genus and species of freshwater flatworm and may constitute an oceanic relict. They represent the first obligate cave-dwelling flatworm in South America." from: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/09/140925132551.htm IP: Logged |

Here are nine other species recently discovered. 1- Caqueta monkey (rare to discover a new mammel, purrs like a cat) 2- Gorgon head starfish 3- Attenborough's pitcher plant 4- Phobaeticus chani (longest insect, stickbug) 5- Blossom bat (hummingbird bat of the world) 6- Psychedelic frogfish (unique patterns as fingerprints are unique to each of us) 7- Scaly-eyed gecko (small enough to sit on top of a pencil eraser) 8- Pearl River map turtle 9- Sneezing monkey of Burma (only 300 known to exist)read about them on Mother Nature Network: http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/animals/photos/9-newly-discovered-species/caqueta-monkey IP: Logged |

Ok, Randall. Lets keep it here. I love all the new discoveries with our ecology, plus in science and technology. My Aquarius grandfather was born in 1898 and lived loooong, because he wanted to see what was going to be discovered or invented next. Now that's a great motivation for longevity that I think I inherited from him (Venus in Aquarius). IP: Logged |

So, when an artist or band releases a new album now, they really release an album.IP: Logged |

I gave away my B&O turntable long ago - best quality. You could jump on the floor next to it and it never skipped. . Now I wish I had it back. Still have the old Victrola though, which plays 78's. CD's are even becoming obsolete. IP: Logged |
