What crystals and stones would you use to promote love?I have previously used rose quartz (standard, I know) and clear quartz (to heal the heart?) as well as a few other ones that promote general healing of the heart, the realisation of dreams or destined meetings etc. I usually make small pouches to go under the pillow. I fill these with a couple of semi-precious stones or crystals, and a few herbs (lavender, rosemary, bay leaves, cloves etc). Any thoughts on this matter? I want to make one of these for a friend of mine for christmas. She's experiencing quite a complicated love at the moment. IP: Logged |

Thank you Randall, I will think more on this. At the moment I have a small pouch of: 1 rose quartz (love) 1 clear quartz (healing) 1 green aventurine (opportunity) I have also thought of: carnelian (to add strength) almandine garnet (protection against negative energies) And I found a website which lists larimar, morganite, red muscovite and rhodocrosite to attract a soulmate. It is very important to cleanse the crystals before using them, as they absorb the energies of those around them. If you buy crystals from a shop they will therefore be tainted by other people. Although some people say crystals have to be buried in the garden under full moon (or something similar) in order to cleanse them I simply rinse mine under cold water. I usually also fill my small pouches with herbs/spices etc such as; cloves, nutmeg, lavender, rosemary, bay leaves and sage. These all have different properties as well. My favourites are cloves and bay leaves (they ward off bad energies and smell amazing). Bay leaves are further supposed to help you with prophetic dreams (about your next love?). To me it's the combination of ingredients that are important as I believe they can reinforce or negate each other. Although I always include a rose quartz to attract love, the other ingredients tend to focus on healing (hopefully the rose quartz will channel it towards healing of the heart) and dreams (as they help us tune into our intuition). Hematite is good for the heart, but it may be more literal.IP: Logged |

Yes, I think hematite is generally good for the blood. It might be good as part of a combination though. I might try that. Jasper could be another interesting one. As far as I recall it protects on journeys. Perhaps also on a journey of the heart? IP: Logged |

Rose Quartz heals the heart. Pick a really really pink colored Rose quartz and wear it on a pendant (guys, too) aligned with your heart. If your heart needs healing then the stone will fade, doing its work. Rose Quartz will fade in color when it is stressed, so don't buy a faded Rose Quartz. There are ways to restore the color but I don't remember how at the moment. It provides a really nice love vibration even if you carry it in your pocket. IP: Logged |
